Intake date: 31 March 2024 ----- DOB: est March 2023 ----- Status: Owner surrender ----- Compatible with: cats, children, dogs ----- Suitable For: Indoor only home ----- Behavior/medical needs: severely matted. Will be shaved ----- Additional Notes: Meet Kilua! I wish I had info on this kitty but I have none. We were supposed to be picking up 3 cats being returned to rescue and a 4th was snuck in. No info, no records. I am not even sure if a male or female because the cat is matted so badly. Friendly and social so that is good! Will be scheduling a groom for this handsomly beautiful cat. We did figure out that Kilua is a male and he is incredibly loving. He adores everyone, dogs included. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Story
Ashes is a very beautiful and playful cat. My fiance's cats gave birth to 8 cats and we were able to find homes for a couple however she needs a new home. I held her when she was brand new and watched her grow up. Unfortunately she has become a bully to other cats in the house occasionally when she has her moments. She likes to cuddle with you and be pet. She gets a bit to excited when being pet sometimes causing her to nip and scratch. She is a sweetheart when she is by herself. She is kinda clumsy and likes to knock things down off the headboard at night to sit there and watch you sleep sometimes. If it wasn't for her bullying the others I wouldn't be getting rid of her. She is very soft and has a fluffy tail. I brush and clean her ears weekly but I would like her to have a home where she is the main attraction and with all the attention. She is very skittish with new people. She will occasionally tap you when walk down stairs. I would really like for her to have a good home.

Story
Oscar is an adult, neutered male cat, at least 12 years old, but we don't know exactly.  He is the most charming cat you have ever met.  He loves people, other animals, Jade Dragon cream cheese wontons, you name it.  He acts more like a dog than a cat, following us around talking constantly and wanting to sit on top of anything we work on.  He hates being alone and cries (loudly) when he feels abandoned (like if you close the door to the bathroom and he's not with you), so he may be best suited for a single-family household, rather than an apartment.  He would also love at least one work-from-home parent.  He doesn't charge a consulting fee: he'll be happy to give his two cents worth on conference calls. He has a chronic sneeze.  He's been treated multiple times over the years, and he's just a sneezy cat.  April 12, 2024, 7:44 pm

Story
Loretta is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born early 2022.  She arrived with Lynn and Lucille.  They are former farm kitties who are learning about life indoors.  Loretta is the youngest; she's sweet but scared and we are working hard to help her feel secure.  She is getting very excited about pets and will come right out of her cubby when we offer to rub her head and cheeks.  April 12, 2024, 7:44 pm

This beautiful long haired boy is dressed in his Sunday best with nowhere to go. Evander came to rescue with some hair loss and a gnarly injury. He is shy and in a lot of pain but still kind through the daily treatments. He has daily bandage changes and soaks. We know it hurts because he shakes and does little cries and it breaks our hearts but soon he will feel much better!! He deserves an amazing and loving family. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org.
