Spayed or Neutered,
Story
She is very sweet and friendly, but she wants to be the only cat in a home. She is used to primarily eating dry food (prefers Purina EN) but we found some Fancy Feast broth that she loves too. In the past she had trouble using a litter box for peeing, but she has not had any accidents in a couple of months. She is on Fluoxetine which is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily. This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator. The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks. This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now. We feel this gel does need to be continued with her. She would love to have a home of her own. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  All kitties have Home Again microchips implanted and are registered at no charge to the owner.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Sheridan in Tulsa on the east side of Sheridan behind Charlie’s Chicken.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc. All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.  April 28, 2024, 6:51 pm

Story
Pasta is a female red tabby with an estimated birthdate of 2/11/2020.  She was being cared for by a lady, but the woman is moving and cannot take her.  She is shy but very sweet after she gets comfortable with you.  She was kept separate from other pets in the home so it isn’t known if she’s been around cats or dogs or children.  Previously she was only fed dry food.  She has been sharing her space with all new cats who come into StreetCats and they just seem to gravitate to her.  both Eddie and Amazon hang out with her and their has not been any issues. Story
Pluto is an all black male with green eyes who was found abandoned in an apartment complex. His estimated birthdate is 11/1/2021 and he weighs about 13 lbs. He was living with his rescuer but she could not keep him so he’s now in StreetCats. He is sweet and bubbly, loves to snuggle, expressive and goofy. He would love to find a kitty playmate either in StreetCats or in a new home. He does not seem to like tummy rubs even though he’ll roll over for you. He is cautious around dogs but not aggressive. He was adopted but the existing cat in the new home did not like him wanting to play so he came back to us 3/19/24 and we think it was a good decision. He tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and he got his rabies and FVRCP vaccinations on 11/2/23 at Ranch Acres Veterinary.  He has a PetLink microchip because he was chipped prior to coming into StreetCats.  It will be the adopter’s responsibility to get him re-registered with PetLink but there should not be a charge to do so.   Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Story
Millie is a brown tabby & white female with an estimated birthdate of 4/12/2018.  She was in a home for about six years but now the man travels too often and he can’t give her the care she needs.  He noted she is more reserved and loves her own space, however, she’s been snuggling up with Pasta in a house at StreetCats.  She used to sleep with her owner between his legs and she does love cuddling.  She’d love to have a home of her own again, but it will take a little bit of adjustment for her at first. Story
BETTER PICTURE COMING THIS WEEK. THIS WAS TAKEN WHEN SHE WAS IN A HIDEY HOLE AND HER FLUFFY TAIL IS IN FRONT OF HER. Abby is a beautiful long haired black female who was just returned to StreetCats after her owner died.  Her estimated birthdate is 5/1/2011 and she lived with an older woman after being adopted in 2012.  She was taken in by a friend who could not keep her and when it was determined she initially came from StreetCats, we took her back.  She did have her teeth cleaned with one tooth removed, but her blood work showed she is very healthy.  She is moving around in StreetCats in a room with two other cats and is adjusting more quickly than we expected.  She does enjoy being petted and would probably be best as an only cat in a senior environment.  All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  All kitties have Home Again microchips implanted and are registered at no charge to the owner.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Story
Better picture later this week. Havi is an extra large brown tabby male who came to us weighing 17.6 lbs., but he seems to carry it well.  He was born in his former home on 3/29/2022 which was a small house for four cats and it just wasn’t working for him.  His former owner says he loves petting, brushing, and belly rubs along with chasing a laser light, however, he is still adjusting to being in StreetCats.  Pluto has tried to make friends with him, but that isn’t working yet so he may want to be the only cat in a home.  Feline Specialties says he was very sweet when he was with them.
