I acquired Harriett thought a TNR, Trap, Neuter and Release program. I have worked with her to domesticate her. She is quite the vocal girl, letting you know when she wants food or petted, which is often. She enjoys playing with other cats. She will allow herself to be picked up and held for a brief period. She's definitely not a lap cat. I do think with patience that could change. She's probably around a year old but still acts at times like a kitten. While she is not a lap cat she enjoys being close to me. I have my recliner and she has her chair. She likes to watch movies with horses and cattle. Strange but true.

I thought I was going to foster Harriett, but it turned out that was not exactly the case. She was a TNR cat, Trap, Neutered and Release. I volunteered to domesticate her. She is vocal at times, namely feeding time and petting time. She loves playing with two other cats that were trapped at the same time. She enjoys being petted and even allows gentle belly rubs! She isn't a fan of being held, but will tolerate it for brief periods. She's not a lap cat, but likes having her own chair.
