Jesse update 5-11-2024 Meet Jesse Jesse is a 1 year old (January-March 2023) female, doll-faced Persian, with gorgeous, exotic looking golden eyes. Jesse is a young mom who came in from a horrendous situation with her 1 1/2 week old kittens. She was an amazing mother who raised her babies, watched them all leave to their new homes and is now ready for her own family. Jesse is a very sweet, social cat who may not be a lap cat, but is always in the same room as her person and purrs as soon as you pet her. She will crawl up beside you on the couch for pets. Her fosters are shocked that she is still with us because is just as sweet as can be. Whenever company comes, they fall in love with Jesse. Jesse has never met a stranger she doesn't love. Jesse loves the affection of her humans so much that she will grab your hand, sometimes with light claws out, and lick. For this reason, NO YOUNG CHILDREN. She does enjoy the teenagers in her foster home. Jesse LOVES other cats, and is used to living with cat-savy dogs. Jesse is learning that kitchen counters are not for jumping on. She has jumped on the counter to steal food left out or to dip her paw in a leftover glass of milk. She is getting much better, and knows she shouldn't but will sneak when no one is in the kitchen. Poor, sweet Jesse is so lucky to have come into rescue and given the opportunity to live the rest of her life in a loving, home environment. As a kitten herself, Jesse must go home with another young kitty companion, under the age of 3 years. Foster home located in Austin, TX. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Occasionally special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Meet Larry, Curly & Moe (Ragamuffin purebred) all 3 years old UPDATED 4-30-2024 Meet Larry, Curly & Moe. (3 year old, purebred Ragamuffins) (UPDATED 4-30-2024 LARRY is the cuddle bug of the 3. Once you sit down, he will be waiting to come curl up on your lap. He will adjust the fastest, and is the most social. Larry is the most independent and could possibly go without Curly and Moe, but he is very close to them and would thrive with them. He absolutely needs a cat friend. He also does well with the dogs. CURLY (half grey nose) is Moe’s emotional support. You can find them snuggled up in a window sill at any given time. He is much more social and loves to be near you when you are on the couch, and will let you hold him like a baby. He is definitely the fluffiest of the three. He also does well with the dogs. MOE is very shy and can be timid, but as long as his brother Curly is with him, he is quite the personality! He is very food motivated and can be bribed with a kitty gogurt, and he is the most social when you’re cooking. Moe LOVES a good belly rub. He loves the dogs in our home and would do perfectly in a home with dogs. We would love for these 3 cats to be adopted together but that is not a requirement. Larry can be adopted without Curly & Moe but he does need a cat friend. Larry's adoption fee is $350. Curly and Moe are bonded and must be adopted together. The adoption fee for the pair is $400. This was a neighbor’s cat that was pregnant so I didn’t want anything to happen to the babies so I asked my neighbor if I could bring her in my house. We both got attached to each other and so I asked if I could keep her. I now have moved to an all dog community with a leach requirement. She loves to go outside and lay in the sun . She has been fixed so no more babies, so typically she is just a lazy cat. She loves to go through her toy box and pick her out a toy to play with and what cat doesn’t like catnip . She will play for hours if you spray a little catnip on her toys. I really need to find her a new home as soon as possible. And if you are looking for a barn baby she will serve you well

We found Ms. Sassy Pants on a busy street when she was no more than 6-8 weeks old and is about 10 months old now. We took her in and gave her a safe and loving home for a while. She is an extremely loving cat who has been around other cats, dogs, and children. She loves cuddles and to be pet. She loves to pretend like she’s biting you and pretends to chew on your finger, which is totally adorable. She has a best friend named Precious that is a white cat with black spots if you are looking for two cats. Precious is probably around 2, but we aren’t certain of the age. Recently our neighborhood has had a major flea issue causing our animals and home to get infested extremely fast. As we are losing our home in a month, I can’t afford an exterminator and treatments for this precious girl, nor will I have a home for her to live in anymore and she deserves a family that can provide better for her and get this issue resolved before she gets sick. Please help us find a home for this sweet baby

We found Precious about a year and a half ago next to my daughter’s friend’s house covered in dirt and half starved, so we took her in and got her cleaned up and back to a healthy weight. Precious is probably around 2 and a half to 3 years old, but we aren’t certain. She’s a very sweet and loving cat. She loves to lounge around and get pets. She’s great with kids, other cats, and dogs. She also has a 10 month old cat best friend named Ms Sassy Pants if you are looking for more than one cat. Recently our neighborhood has had a major flea issue causing our animals and home to get infested extremely fast. As we are losing our home in a month, I can’t afford an exterminator and treatments for this precious girl, nor will I have a home for her to live in anymore and she deserves a family that can provide better for her and get this issue resolved before she gets sick.

Baby is the sweetest cat you’ll meet. She loves to be pet and cuddled. She loves both indoor and outdoors. She has stayed indoors with us because there are many stray big dogs in our neighborhood. Baby showed up at our door about two years ago and has been a part of our family since. Recently our neighborhood has had a major flea issue causing our animals and home to get infested extremely fast. As we are losing our home in a month, I can’t afford an exterminator and treatments for this precious girl, nor will I have a home for her to live in anymore and she deserves a family that can provide better for her and get this issue resolved before she gets sick.
