Gus is about 14 or 15. He was abandoned in the woods at about 6 weeks old. He is Ziva's (also available) brother. I found him first and he wouldn't shut up till I found her and put them together.My wife passed in February and I just had my 5th back surgery, so I can't handle 4 cats so I am rehoming the 4 before I move back to NC. Gus is a talker, but loves to cuddle and be petted. He would do fine by himself, or with his sister. All vet records are available.If you need a comfort cat, Gus will fit your needs. Hopefully you will come meet him and the others, to verify your match. I can travel if necessary.Thanx

Ziva (named after NCIS television program) was abandoned in the North Carolina woods at about 6 weeks old. She was evidently thrown from a moving vehicle as she had a broken hind leg and later had to have surgery to remove a foreign body from her ear canal. She has a permanent head tilt and walks a little crooked, but has been fine. I found her brother first, and he would not shut up, till I found her and reunited them. (he is also needing a new home and they get along well). They are litter mates and about 14, or 15 years old. She sleeps next (against) me most nights. Very loving cat. My wife was the cat person. She passed in February of this year. I have severe medical problems having just had my 5th back surgery, and 30th total surgeries. I can not physically take care of my wife's cats. There are a total of 4. I know older cats are not cute and playful like kittens, but for a lonely person who need company, Ziva is good. She loves to sit on your lap and be petted. Contact me. Pleas

Chula is the sweetest indoor kitty. She’s 3 years old, very cuddly, and likes to play with you and sit on your lap. Her family had to move out of the country and they weren’t able to have pets at their new home. We have been fostering here for a month. She deserves a loving furever home!

Creaky is about 6 months old. She was brought in and was so skinny she was barely two pounds, with a wound. And needed lots of help While she is still very small, she is at a much healthier weight. She is very timid and will need someone with lots of patience and time to work with her. Once she warms up to someone, she is a very sweet cat. She likes to sit on laps and purr. This is TJ! We’ve had him for about 4 years, he fell in our lap when there was a huge rain storm and he got flushed into our backyard and a kitten. We found him and he became our outdoor cat. He’s been an inside cat before and used a littler box successfully for an extended period of time but most recently he’s been an outdoor cat. He loves to be pet and cuddled! He has a deformity of his left eye lid which causes his eye to be weepy, we've taken him to the vet to get it checked out and they confirmed there is no infection just the deformity of the eye lid. There is a surgery they could do to fix it but we could not afford it. He really is such a great cat and is so good with our 2 year old! The only reason we are looking to rehome him is because my husband has a severe allergy.

I got Raven 10 years ago in New Mexico when she was just a kitten. She is great and I love her so much. Last November I had twin girls, and I have been unable to give her the attention she deserves. It also makes life harder in our apartment with two babies and a cat. I’m unable to provide her with the best possible life like I used to. I love her so much and I just want her to have a better life. She used to have all the attention in the house and all the territory. She is a territorial cat in the sense of she likes to be around everyone and to let you know it’s her place by lying on everything. She’s a really good cat just a little finicky like all black cats lol
