This sweet 12-year-old lady is a true "floor dweller," happiest keeping things calm and close by your side. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she becomes incredibly loving, attentive, and even a bit chatty, she'll happily keep you company with her soft conversations. She gets along wonderfully with other cats, dogs, and people, making her an easy addition to a peaceful home. She's an indoor-only queen with a soft spot for attention (and popcorn 🍿), and she enjoys affection, and the occasional belly rubs on her terms of course. 🐾 Meet Blue! 🐾 When Blue first came back to our rescue, after being with his family for 6 years, he was matted, terrified and very sick. Our veterinarian wasn't sure he was going to survive the serious bout of pneumonia he was fighting. But after 2 months of intense antibiotic therapy, he is now a beautiful, lovely ragdoll-looking kitty! Due to his severe pneumonia, Blue does have some permanent lung damage unfortunately. It causes him to breathe a little faster than normal, but otherwise it doesn’t bother him. Because he was so matted, we were forced to shave his body to make him comfortable. He will require daily grooming with regular visits to a grooming salon to help keep his beautiful long fur in tip top shape! He does tolerate grooming fairly well so most of his grooming needs can be done yourself. Due to his unknown trauma, Blue can have accidents on carpet, so he will need a home without carpet. You will never meet a sweeter, more gentle soul than Blue (Blueberry.) His foster mom says, in all her years of fostering, she’s never met another cat with a soul as gentle as this special boy. He gets along with everyone he meets and just wants to be close to his humans. During the day he snuggles with the family dog while waiting for his foster mom to finish her work shift. ** Blue needs a calm, quiet, indoor-only home, preferably with another calm, gentle pet to keep him company. He doesn't require much to be a happy cat. He needs his daily wet food, a daily brushing session and lots of cuddles. He doesn't like being picked up or restrained but will come find a comfy spot next to you so he can get the affection he craves. ** Blueberry gets along with other cats, gentle, well-mannered dogs and older children. Blue will not do well in a noisy, chaotic home with small children as he startles easily. Phoebe is a 3 yr 7 mos. old delicious girl. This girl is not only stunning but an absolute doll when is come to manners and loves. Phoebe is a front declaw, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and spayed. Stop by and meet this beauty Wed-Sat 10am to 3pm. Teddy is 6 years old. We got him and his brother (other cat in photos) in 2020, they MUST stay together. He is friendly and loves to cuddle with his person, whether you like it or not. He is an inside cat, has only been outside a few times and still has his claws. If he has something to scratch on he won’t touch the furniture. He doesn’t mind dogs if they’re good with cats. I have to move and can’t keep them, it is breaking my heart. He has to go to a loving home with his brother Alfie. I am moving mid May and would like to have them adopted by then. He will come with a self cleaning litter box and a wooden cat home if desired.
