Story
Meet Bjorn & Duva! Two orphaned kitties who were raised in a foster home now need a more permanent home. It cannot be overstated just how sweet and adorable this brother and sister duo are. They so beautiful and soft, just like little plush toys, but these toys purr and cuddle and play! They are foodies, too, so watch your plates when it's meal time!Bjorn has been described with words and phrases such as "himbo" and "thick-skulled" and "all brawn, no brain." True, he's been known to chase his own tail, and yes he does often have a vacant wide-eyed stare, and maybe he seems to have forgotten how to meow, and yes on more than one occasion he's gotten his head stuck in things... but he's cute! "Bjorn" means "bear," but he wasn't called that because he's fierce, he was called that because as a kitten he would climb up high and then fall off or roll off of whatever he was sitting on, and he seemed to have very little control of his own body, just like a panda bear. This fluffy little guy might not know a lot, but he absolutely knows the way to your heart.Duva was and still is the runt of their small litter of 2, and was very sickly on and off for most of her tiny kittenhood. But she's nothing if not persistent, and she's pulled through to become a very cute and very curious little lady! Where her brother Bjorn is all brawn, Duva has the brain. She likes to explore and she likes to study the other people and cats around her, and she's definitely the type to think before she act. But don't underestimate her, sometimes the thoughts in her head are evil thoughts, like "I bet I could learn my foster mom's habits so I know exactly when she'll leave her glass of milk on the counter so I can steal a sip of it!" "Duva" means "dove," and she was called that because when she was tiny she was so scraggly and weird looking, just like a baby bird- plus a lot of her little noises sound more like bird chirps than cat meows!

Meet DaVinci — The Sweetest Senior Lovebug! At 13 years young, this big, handsome guy still has so much love to give. DaVinci absolutely adores attention — he’ll gladly soak up every pet, cuddle, and lap moment you can offer. He even enjoys being held like a sack of potatoes (and yes, he loves every second of it). Declawed (front paws) Litter box trained Comes to his name Extremely food-motivated Sweet, gentle, and never aggressive DaVinci is currently on a weight-loss journey — and let’s just say he’s not thrilled about it. He is severely overweight, so his future adopter will need to help him stay on his diet to keep him healthy and feeling his best. A little tough love now means many more happy, purring years ahead. He prefers being the king of his castle and is not too fond of other cats or dogs, but he doesn’t cause trouble — just a little grumble here and there. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than love, snacks (in moderation), and a cozy spot to nap by your side, DaVinci is your guy. Age: 13 years Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped Best as an only pet Must remain on a vet-approved diet

Story
Meet River he boy with the most gorgeous blue eyes! River has come such a long way since arriving at the rescue. Once a shy, feral-born kitten, this handsome guy has truly blossomed! He loves head scratches, rubbing up against you, and never says no to his favorite wet food. His shyness has mostly faded, and now he just wants love and a cozy home to call his own. River is fully litter box trained, incredibly soft, and oh-so-gorgeous — just look at those eyes! He may take a little time to warm up in a new place, but once he does, he’ll be your loyal little shadow. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves, River is waiting for you!

Story
Wednesday is currently one of the longest residents of the rescue, shes been with us since early 2022! She's had a rough go at life, but has come out swinging through everything! Normally it's the goal of a rescue to paint their fosters in the best light possible, but in order to find the best home possible, we have to be honest here, this adorable Wednesday is a bit of a Wednesday Addams! Wednesday's life with the rescue started in the spring of 2022, when she was surrendered due to being too much to handle at her previous home. It wasn't exaggerated when we were told she was bullying everyone in the house, puppies and toddlers included! It turns out Wednesday just isnt great with children, of any species. Right as Wednesday was getting comfy in her new foster home, disaster struck in the form of a housefire that displaced the whole household. Wednesday was unharmed, but had to go live with a different foster for nearly a year, restarting her cycle of stress. By the end of the year, she was able to move back in with her original foster and life went back to normal. Only to be disrupted again. Before 2023 came, Wednesday got very sick, very quickly. She was diagnosed with an aggressive disease called FIP- it's almost always fatal! We werent ready to give up on Wednesday, and started an expensive experimental treatment immediately. Many rescues have been having success with it in recent years. The treatment was a long and hard road. Daily needle injections for months. Wednesday handled it like a champ, and before long was becoming her healthy sassy self again! She has currently been in remission for about a year, and though she is still working on building her weight back, shes otherwise completely healthy. We would like to be completely transparent and be clear that we dont know if this disease will ever come back. As mentioned, the treatment is fairly new and not many statistics are available about how long, if not permanently, the disease will be in remission for. The one thing we do know, is Wednesday is healthy right now, finally, and deserves a loving home of her own for as many years as she has left (which is hopefully a lot!). Here's what we know about Wednesday, the good and the bad. She does NOT like children and will need to go into a home with adults only preferably, but older kids may be okay. Wednesday honestly doesn't like any other animals, period, and would prefer a home all to herself. That being said, she does okay with other calm cats that will give her a wide birth. A calm dog who stays away from her may also be okay. Small dogs may get whacked around a bit, not gonna lie! Regardless of species, if Wednesday joins a home with any other animals, a very slow introduction is a must! Wednesday absolutely adores her people and truly creates deep lifelong bonds! Unfortunately, her love language is a bit violent in nature. She takes "love bites" to a whole new level, and though she rarely breaks skin, she will make it clear that pain is love ?. She likes to chomp when she wants attention, and she likes to chomp when she's had enough attention! She also likes to chomp at random just to remind you she loves you very very much! Wednesday doesnt like being held, and isnt fond of the word "no" either. She LOVES back scratches and cuddles- on her own terms of course. Wednesday is extremely goofy and playful! Just make sure you have plenty of toys or your arm will be volunteered as tribute! She loves human food and sunbathing in sinks. All in all, Wednesday is a bit rough around the edges and will need a very particular home. But she truly is a good cat, so so loving, and so very loyal to her people! She has a very Kitten-like personality once she's comfy in a home away from other animals. Shes going to be an amazing cat for the right family. If Wednesday's foster had to describe her perfect home, she would say it's with a single woman (or they) who has no other animals, has a love for mischievous black cats, and shares a love of being unapologetically weird, aggressive and putting fear in men and babies alike! She may or may not have been joking about that last part... come meet Wednesday to find out!
