Story
Please read Marshmallow’s full bio before inquiring about gorgeous Marshmallow. Marshmallow is a stunning, soft-as-a-cloud girl with the biggest heart for her people. She is incredibly cuddly and loving and enjoys spending her days napping, lounging, and soaking up quiet companionship. Marshmallow forms strong bonds and does best when she has a safe person and a calm, predictable environment. While she is very sweet, she has strict boundaries and can become overstimulated when those boundaries are crossed. When she is overwhelmed, she will bite—and when she does, it hurts. This is not random or unprovoked behavior, but it is her clear way of communicating that she has had too much. Because of this, Marshmallow requires an experienced, attentive home where her signals are recognized and respected. Large crowds, frequent visitors, loud environments, or constant activity are simply too much for her. She thrives in peaceful spaces where she can relax, feel secure, and be herself without pressure. We believe Marshmallow would be happiest in a quiet, adult-only home where she can decompress, adjust at her own pace, and live the calm life she deserves. She is not a good fit for homes with children. Marshmallow is a truly special girl—gentle, loving, and deeply loyal to those she trusts. With the right home and an understanding human, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion. However, she is not the right match for every household, and we are committed to finding the environment where she can succeed long-term.

Story
Wednesday is currently one of the longest residents of the rescue, shes been with us since early 2022! She's had a rough go at life, but has come out swinging through everything! Normally it's the goal of a rescue to paint their fosters in the best light possible, but in order to find the best home possible, we have to be honest here, this adorable Wednesday is a bit of a Wednesday Addams! Wednesday's life with the rescue started in the spring of 2022, when she was surrendered due to being too much to handle at her previous home. It wasn't exaggerated when we were told she was bullying everyone in the house, puppies and toddlers included! It turns out Wednesday just isnt great with children, of any species. Right as Wednesday was getting comfy in her new foster home, disaster struck in the form of a housefire that displaced the whole household. Wednesday was unharmed, but had to go live with a different foster for nearly a year, restarting her cycle of stress. By the end of the year, she was able to move back in with her original foster and life went back to normal. Only to be disrupted again. Before 2023 came, Wednesday got very sick, very quickly. She was diagnosed with an aggressive disease called FIP- it's almost always fatal! We werent ready to give up on Wednesday, and started an expensive experimental treatment immediately. Many rescues have been having success with it in recent years. The treatment was a long and hard road. Daily needle injections for months. Wednesday handled it like a champ, and before long was becoming her healthy sassy self again! She has currently been in remission for about a year, and though she is still working on building her weight back, shes otherwise completely healthy. We would like to be completely transparent and be clear that we dont know if this disease will ever come back. As mentioned, the treatment is fairly new and not many statistics are available about how long, if not permanently, the disease will be in remission for. The one thing we do know, is Wednesday is healthy right now, finally, and deserves a loving home of her own for as many years as she has left (which is hopefully a lot!). Here's what we know about Wednesday, the good and the bad. She does NOT like children and will need to go into a home with adults only preferably, but older kids may be okay. Wednesday honestly doesn't like any other animals, period, and would prefer a home all to herself. That being said, she does okay with other calm cats that will give her a wide birth. A calm dog who stays away from her may also be okay. Small dogs may get whacked around a bit, not gonna lie! Regardless of species, if Wednesday joins a home with any other animals, a very slow introduction is a must! Wednesday absolutely adores her people and truly creates deep lifelong bonds! Unfortunately, her love language is a bit violent in nature. She takes "love bites" to a whole new level, and though she rarely breaks skin, she will make it clear that pain is love ?. She likes to chomp when she wants attention, and she likes to chomp when she's had enough attention! She also likes to chomp at random just to remind you she loves you very very much! Wednesday doesnt like being held, and isnt fond of the word "no" either. She LOVES back scratches and cuddles- on her own terms of course. Wednesday is extremely goofy and playful! Just make sure you have plenty of toys or your arm will be volunteered as tribute! She loves human food and sunbathing in sinks. All in all, Wednesday is a bit rough around the edges and will need a very particular home. But she truly is a good cat, so so loving, and so very loyal to her people! She has a very Kitten-like personality once she's comfy in a home away from other animals. Shes going to be an amazing cat for the right family. If Wednesday's foster had to describe her perfect home, she would say it's with a single woman (or they) who has no other animals, has a love for mischievous black cats, and shares a love of being unapologetically weird, aggressive and putting fear in men and babies alike! She may or may not have been joking about that last part... come meet Wednesday to find out!

Story
Mr. Pickles is an active, affectionate boy who loves being right where you are, especially if that means cuddling up close (yes, sometimes right in your face). He enjoys going both inside and outside, staying busy, and burning off energy with his favorite string toys. When playtime is over, he is happiest lounging with his person and soaking up all the attention. Mr. Pickles thrives in a home where he can be loved on and engaged, and he would do best in a cat-only home, as he is not fond of dogs. But does tolerate them. If you are looking for a playful, cuddly companion with a big personality, Mr. Pickles might be your perfect match.
