Story
UPDATE!!  Meet Tenny aka Murphy! This boy was originally adopted as a small puppy but sadly there was a death in the family and now he is needing a new home. Murphy is a gorgeous blue Merle catahaoula mix. He’s 7 months and 30 lbs. He’s a play and happy puppy. Great with other animals and kids. He’s doing well with training for his age but of course  is still young and will need additional training and attention. He’s very eager to please and doesn’t mind his crate. He loves the water and being outdoors. Murphy is utd, neutered and ready for his forever home.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Does this handsome boy look familiar? That's because he is. Luxor is back in rescue due to unforeseen circumstances with his previous family. Luxor's dad has dementia, which was worsening. And Luxor was acting out with a lot of weird behavior, and his herding instincts were becoming an increasing problem. Luxor has been okay with dogs that he has met since his return, and really wants to play with cats-but we advise against it because of Luxor's size. He is a whopping 85 pounds of energy, and needs a home that will make exercising him a priority. He can chase a ball for hours, but is a very sweet boy. Luxor is already housebroken & kennel trained, which is great! And he would likely do best in a home without small children due to his tendency to herd and his overall size.  Luxor is part of our adorable Casino Litter. We believe Luxor is a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Black Mouth Cur mix who was born on 11/7/22. He and his siblings were found under a house and had to be trapped. Since Luxor is going to be a medium sized dog when fully grown, so we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization.  Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster based rescue in the Pensacola, Florida area.  We do not have a physical building. If you would like to meet any of our pups, the first step is to fill out our online application so we can contact you. Luxor has had four sets of puppy shots, two dewormings (done prior to adoption), is neutered, current on shots, rabies vaccine, and a registered microchip. If you would like to adopt this Amazing dog, please fill out our online adoption application at www.amazinggracebullyrescue.org If you have any questions, please text your question to 723-2037.  You may also send a message to our Amazing Grace Bully Rescue Page on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or send an email directly to amazinggracebullyrescue@gmail.com Disclaimer:  We are located in the Pensacola, Florida area and will consider local applicants first, especially with puppies since we use a vet in the local area.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 4:42 am
