Lola is a sweet dog that loves affection and is highly treat motivated. Lola can be shy and a bit timid at first meeting new people sense her early years were spent in the shelter with dogs instead of a family. Even though she's a bit shy, she tends to warm up fast and is not aggressive with her shyness. Unusual things sometimes startles her since she's never been in a house but her foster has been working hard on showing her every new thing. Lola enjoys playing with other dogs and her toys, plus loves walks since she does have a lot of energy. She is working on her leash manners but does well with corrections and will not tug you off your feet. She is still very much a puppy and working on her basic manners but doing well with crate training. Lola has only met dogs and does awesome. She has met young children through her crate and licks their fingers but she has not met cats. Lola is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption. 🐾 Sadie ❤️ 🚨⚠️She has been at the shelter OVER 132 days! ⚠️🚨 📍1yr old Female Rhodesian Ridgeback Great Dane mix Meet Sadie! An affectionate, trainable, and eager to please sweet girl. 💥 Personality & Needs: She’s food-motivated, walks fairly well on leash, and offers soft, gentle eye contact. This sweet girl shows no signs of resource guarding and has all the potential to be a wonderful companion in the right home. Due to her prolonged time here at the shelter, she has become very fearful of men. If a man is in the home he will need to go slow with her. 👶 Best Without Small Kids: Sadie’s still very much a playful pup at heart. She loves to jump up and give big, enthusiastic hugs — which makes her better suited for families with older children rather than small ones. 🐶 Dog-selective, But awesome with the right dog!: She can be dog selective, so she would do best with slow, structured introductions to other dogs. She can be slightly over bearing and rude which throws most dogs into defensive mode. 😺 Possibly cat friendly! When walked into our cat room Sadie was more fearful of the hissing cats, showing no interest in them. I would still take any interactions with cats or small animals very slow with her. Sadie is full of potential and just needs the right environment to thrive — ideally with a rescue or adopter who can give her the time, structure, and guidance she deserves. She’s currently deteriorating in the shelter environment 💔, and we’d love to see her get a second chance.

Meet Dixie 🎶🐶 Dixie is a 4-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound, and she is all hound through and through! 👃🐾 One of her favorite things is showing off her signature hound bay 🎵—so be prepared for some classic hound vocals! Dixie came into the shelter as a stray with her daughter, Cammie 💕. She does well with polite, neutered male dogs 🐕✅ but isn’t a fan of other female dogs, aside from her daughter. Dixie knows what she likes and prefers to keep her circle small. This lovely hound could use some leash manners and basic obedience training 🎓🦴, but she’s a smart girl who will benefit from consistency and patience. A home without cats is recommended 🚫🐱. Dixie would do best with older, respectful children 👧🧒 who understand boundaries. No small, fast-moving kids, please—she prefers a calmer environment. Personality-wise, Dixie is very much a “live and let live” kind of gal 🌿. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention and isn’t a big cuddler, but she’s happy to coexist, do her own thing, and enjoy life at her own pace.
