Vibe is a crystal blue eyed Catahoula mix male about 20 months old / 39#. He is crate trained and house broken (but with any new dog you need to give them some grace to learn your schedule). He is great with dogs, puppies, cats and children. Vibe is very smart, he is very trainable and will be a great companion. He sleeps/eats in his crate. He does not jump on furniture unless told he can. He LOVES people, all people! To describe Vibe you would say: Fun Happy Playful Energetic Handsome as all get out! If you are looking for a hiking buddy, a running buddy, a "let's get some steps in" buddy...he's your guy! You want to toss that ball...he'll bulls eye right to it! But if you are looking to drop down afterwards, well he's up for that snooze too. Vibe would be a great boy in any home. Vibe is the total family package! Apply for him today at East Coast Canine Rescue eastcoastcaninerescue.org *** not eligible to be adopted in Massachusetts due to quarantine restrictions***December 8, 2025, 7:34 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 5 months as of 11/19/25 Weight: 21 lbs. as of 11/19/25 This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet your new best friend Sheba! One of those rare pups with a perfectly flexible personality, Sheba is full of life and energy and loves to play whenever you're ready, but she also enjoys chilling out in front of the TV or fireplace to cuddle or snooze. She's even perfectly content to be alone while you're off working to bring home the bacon (treats)! She can fit in to just about any lifestyle. At just five months old, Sheba's still working on basic training: she'll need some help weaning off the counter-surfing habit and learning to greet guests without jumping, but she's a big fan of self-improvement so those kinks should be ironed out real fast. She's perfectly at ease in both a crate and a car, and she's worked hard on her leash skills, so whenever she sees you tying your shoelaces, she'll be ready! Take Sheba along as your walking buddy or hiking companion. Sheba hasn't spent time with cats, but as far as children and other dogs are concerned, she's good to go! She's happy to frolic with any little playmates you can spare, whether canine or human. Sheba was found all alone on the side of a country road, and now she's ready to find her forever home. If you have some extra space in your heart, get to know Sheba.   An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 4, 2025, 6:06 pm

Honey Boy is leash, crate and house trained. He is the perfect family dog. Honey Boy can’t wait to meet you! Honey Boy is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Meet BAM! Bam is now 2 years, 2 months old and 62 lbs. He was abandoned in McKenzie, TN at a rental property. HOW HORRID! He had much higher energy back in Feb 2023. But with an AMAZING, dedicated foster Mom...Bam has established a regular exercise routine and he has nicely smoothed out his energy now. Bam's 'thing' is his georgeous blue eyes. They look like jewels glistening at ya! I did the breed app check. And if shows mostly American Fox Hound with mix of Louisianna Catahoula Leopard. I'm going with it as his breed has had us puzzled. Bam is great with all the dogs in his foster home...of both genders, all ages, and various breeds. He is good on leash, rides well, crates & house trained. Story
Adoption Donation  $    299      Located:  RI  (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details ) Age: est. DOB 8/21/24   Weight: 65 lbs. Meet Chevy aka Puddles  This sweet 1-year-old pup is goofy and smart all in one beautiful package.  He does have some quirks that have kept him from winning over his own family. Chevy has stranger-danger and does not meet new people well. He does take a couple meets before he feels comfortable. He barks and guards his soul so none of those pesky human strangers can steal it.  If you can get past his quirk, I promise, this dog is one amazing friend. We all love him here in his foster home. He does currently live with kids and a baby but because of his quirky ways, I would feel better if he went to an adult only, experienced home.  He gets along great with the other dogs in my home besides the occasional toy scruffy. We don't know how he would be with cats.  He does bark and growl at strangers so a low traffic home would be best and a fenced yard is a must because it will take Chevy time to trust his new human and probably won't feel safe with a stranger walking him right away. Puddles is currently working with a trainer.  Come visit Puddles in his foster home any time just promise not to steal his soul.   *** As part of the adoption donation this pup will participate in FOA's spay/neuter program or other programs available through FOHA. All puppies will have age appropriate vaccinations.  All small Pups need to be adopted by by children old enough to understand how to be respectful and gentle in handling a small young pup. ***     If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website   www.fohari.org and email my foster parent for more information:    reginasfosterdogs@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.       Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Your adoption fee helps to cover the cost of all age appropriate vetting and transportation. FOHARI.ORG makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health, temperament and/or the breed of the animal. The animal is adopted ‘as is’, and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur.
