If you ask Pearl Lulubelle what makes for a perfect day, her answer is probably going to be, "Whatever you're doing... as long as we get to hang out together." Want to sleep in and spend the morning cuddled up in bed? She's all in. Feel like going for a walk around the neighborhood or taking a drive with the windows down? That sounds pretty great too. She's one of those dogs that's just easy to have around. Add in her stunning icy blue eyes, the softest bunny-like fur you've ever felt, and the sweetest personality to match, and it's honestly hard not to fall completely in love with her. As with any rescue dog, her exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is she's a Catahoula/Lab mix. Whatever combination created her also gave her the prettiest icy blue eyes, the softest coat imaginable, and a heart that's every bit as beautiful as she is. One of our favorite things about Pearl is just how naturally affectionate she is. Her foster says she'll happily spend the day curled up in bed with you if you'll let her, and honestly, she'd probably consider that a perfect day. She's incredibly sweet, gentle, and has that comforting kind of presence that makes a house instantly feel more like home. She's the type of dog that's happy simply being near her people, whether you're out doing something fun or enjoying a quiet evening together. Pearl has a wonderfully adaptable personality. She enjoys getting out for walks, loves riding in the car, and is always happy to join you for an adventure, but she doesn't need constant entertainment to be happy. She's just as content spending the afternoon relaxing at home as she is getting out to explore. It's such a nice balance and one of the many reasons we think she'll fit beautifully into the right family. Pearl is currently fostered in a multi-dog home with both small dogs and dogs her own size, and she's done wonderfully with all of them. She isn't the type of dog that's going to walk into a room expecting everyone to immediately become her best friend, and honestly... we kind of get it. She's more of a "let's get to know each other first" kind of girl. She appreciates slower introductions and dogs that are polite and respectful of her space. Once she's comfortable, she'll absolutely enjoy playing with the right canine friend, especially a playful but easygoing male dog. We also love how well she reads other dogs. If one of her foster siblings lets her know they're not interested in playing, Pearl simply says, "Okay!" and moves on. No hurt feelings, no pestering... just good manners. Pearl is also currently fostered with a cat and has done wonderfully. She also met our house cat during her assessment and handled herself beautifully there too. She was respectful, calm, and showed us that she has the potential to do very well in a home with feline family members. She's already off to a great start with her training. Pearl is crate trained, fully potty trained, knows how to sit, and absolutely loves treats. She always takes them gently and is eager to please, making continued training something that's both fun and rewarding. She also enjoys playing with toys, although true to her personality, she's gentle with them rather than turning every toy into confetti. The only thing Pearl asks for during mealtime is a little peace and quiet. Think about how much more enjoyable dinner is when nobody is reaching over your plate every five seconds. Pearl feels the same way. She simply prefers to enjoy her breakfast and dinner without curious dog noses checking out what's on the menu. Feeding her in her crate or a separate room is an easy solution and gives everyone a chance to enjoy their meals in peace. Pearl would do best in a home with a fenced backyard in a quieter residential area rather than an apartment. While she settles in nicely once she's comfortable, new places and unexpected loud noises can make her a little unsure at first. Because of that, we think she'd be happiest in a calmer environment where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. Although she hasn't officially been kid tested, we think she'd likely do best with older children, around six years old and up, who understand how to give her a little time to settle into new situations. Howdy Doody! We are an 8-pack of adorable little Pitbull mix puppies, 7 boys and 1 girl, born on 5/27/26 in a kill shelter in Port Lavaca, Texas. Yep, our mama was a pregnant stray, a sweet little brown and white Pitbull mix weighing 25 lbs, and it was a miracle they didn't euthanise her before we were born. What a relief when 4 Little Paws Rescue saved all of us, including our mama and 19 other dogs! These days we are doing great, happy and healthy, and having some fun in various foster homes in San Antonio. We will all be vaccinated, microchipped, up to date on preventatives, and have records from the vet. And FYI... we all look different from each other, so good luck choosing, LOL! I'm Zeus, and I think I have some Catahoula genes in my DNA! I weigh 9 lbs and have gorgeous blue merle coloring. My foster mom says I am the bravest when it comes to exploring, the most energetic, always on the go, and looking for fun! I am adventurous, and I already love the water... future swimmer here? Trey is the only boy in his whole litter of 6! He is such a handsome little boy and he is so sweet! He’s a little insecure but he just needs a loving home to help boost his confidence and show him the world. Tulip is the tallest of her litter and quite possibly the prettiest! (At least she thinks so!) With her beautiful spotted markings and pretty colored eyes she really grabs your attention. She is very sweet, friendly and ready for some good scratches. She loves all her siblings so she would surely love to have a new step brother or sister. She’s medium to high energy and will keep you busy with lots of play time and cuddles. Tootsie is such a little sweetheart that comes with a condition that just makes her even more special and endearing. Her eyes are slightly deformed (we think it gives her such a sweet face) which results in her having limited vision. She can definitely see to some extent though because she’ll look you in the eye and squint up at you to show you she means no harm! She's a happy little love bug and she doesn’t let her condition slow her down. She’s a little insecure like the rest of her litter but with some love and guidance she’ll learn to be a confident girl. She loves to see her litter mates and she is so happy to be out walking with her people.
