Kane is a very smart, most goodest boy who is in an unfortunate predicament. His previous owner recently lost their housing, so this energetic and loving baby is currently homeless. Kane is incredibly intelligent, knows hand and verbal commands, is good in a crate (but prefers the couch), and is fully house-trained. His last vet visit was over the summer and is up to date on all vetting. He's approximately 3.5 years old. Kane loves his owners fiercely and can be protective. He is Not good with cats or small animals, because he sees them as stimulating toys. His Catahoula side loves big open spaces to run and his herding nature is evident in how he circles his owner on walks. He does have dietary needs as he is allergic to Soy and peas. He is currently on Wholesomes dog food from Tractor Supply and is doing fabulously. He will need an experienced owner who is active and can be the alpha to control his stubborn side. He will be the most loving and loyal puppers once he's settled in.

Meet Sawyer! At approximately months old, Sawyer has already had quite a journey. This handsome boy showed up as a stray, frightened and alone. He was found cowering under a house, clearly terrified and completely lost. Despite every effort to find his family, no owner ever came forward, so now Sawyer is looking for the forever home he truly deserves. Our veterinarian believes Sawyer may be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and at about 55 pounds already, he's going to be a big, athletic boy! Sawyer has blossomed in foster care and is proving to be a wonderful companion. He is crate trained, knows the commands "sit," "down," and "stay," and has excellent house manners. He always takes care of his potty business when he goes outside. One thing that's become clear is that Sawyer was likely an indoor family dog before he was lost. He enjoys playing outside, tossing his toys into the air and chasing after them, but he doesn't like being left outside by himself. The moment he thinks his person is going inside without him, he'll race to the door, eager to be with his family. He loves toys and loves to take them outside to play with them. Sawyer is incredibly smart and observant. He quickly learns routines and pays close attention to everything happening around him. At bedtime, he settles quietly in his crate without a peep. In the morning, he patiently waits until he hears everyone else getting up before he's ready to start his day. This sweet, goofy boy has a playful side that will keep you smiling. He loves chasing bugs (as long as they aren't chasing him! 😊), and the frogs in his foster home's yard haven't had a moment's peace since Sawyer. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi but can be transported to you! She was adopted as a puppy, but when her dad got a new girlfriend, he decided that he couldn't be bothered with his dogs and so after a year, Maryann ended up back at the rescue.
