Story
Meet Bronco! Bronco is an amazing pup, estimated to be between 1–2 years old, and he’s still very much in that playful puppy phase. Curious about everything, he loves exploring the world around him and discovering new sights, smells, and adventures. Bronco gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently has three foster siblings he enjoys playing and lounging with throughout the day. He is also potty trained, and he is currently working on becoming fully kennel trained. This sweet boy is quite the talker—Bronco loves to express himself with silly grumbles, playful barks, and funny little sounds, especially when he’s excited or vying for attention. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart. While he can be a bit skittish at first and sometimes thinks he’s in trouble when you approach, he is quickly learning that people can be kind and gentle. Each day, he grows more confident, more trusting, and more affectionate. In the evenings, Bronco enjoys curling up on a cozy dog bed, and he’ll occasionally trot over to give you a soft “boop” as his sweet way of asking for pets. He also has great protective instincts—if he hears a strange noise outside, he’ll be the first to investigate and alert his people. Bronco is well on his way to becoming a loyal, loving, and devoted companion. With continued patience, reassurance, and love, he will blossom into the incredible dog he is meant to be. He’s ready to find a forever family to adore and protect. Bronco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported to the PNW and NE United States after adoption. Story
Meet Toffee (brindle) and Heath (white), a bonded pair of one-and-a-half-year-old Catahoula mix brothers with an unshakable connection. These two grew up side by side and have been inseparable ever since. Toffee is hearing-impaired and looks to Heath as his guide and emotional support, while Heath takes that role to heart, always looking out for his brother. Both boys are friendly and affectionate, though they can be a bit timid in new situations. Once they warm up, their personalities shine—Heath is the energetic social butterfly, always ready for playtime or a walk, and Toffee brings a gentle, calming presence with his sweet, soulful eyes. They love running and playing together, whether it’s chasing each other around the yard or stretching out in the grass for a good nap. Their bond makes them the perfect team—Heath gives Toffee confidence, and Toffee keeps Heath grounded. They’re looking for a home that will embrace their unique connection and give them both the love, patience, and space to thrive. With Toffee and Heath, you’re not just adopting dogs—you’re gaining a loyal duo that will fill your life with double the love and twice the tail wags. Patches is a stunning Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a gorgeous coat and a personality as vibrant as his coloring. This high-energy youngster is always ready for action and would thrive with an active family who enjoys running, swimming, hiking, or any adventure that lets him burn off steam. While Patches is highly dog-selective, he does enjoy playtime with certain canine friends and currently attends playgroup at the shelter. He’s friendly, outgoing, and full of life—just waiting for the right home to match his enthusiasm. To help set him up for success, his adoption comes with free training sessions from a local dog trainer, ensuring he starts his new chapter on the right paw.

Story
Boo is the sweetest little cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. She is a very gentle puppy who loves nothing more than snuggling close, giving soft kisses, and staying right by your side. Boo gets along wonderfully with other dogs, even big ones, and is friendly with cats. Her favorite time of day is nap time, preferably curled up next to her favorite human. When she’s not snoozing, she enjoys playing in the backyard and is doing a great job learning to go potty outside. She doesn’t see very well, especially at a distance, but she gets around beautifully and quickly learns how to navigate new spaces. Loud or sudden things can surprise her, but she is growing braver and more confident each day as she learns her world is safe. For Boo’s safety, a securely fenced yard is required for adoption. Chain link fencing will not work, as she is capable of climbing. She would thrive in a calm, caring home that appreciates a tender, snuggly companion who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and close to her family. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications. Once your application is received, a member of our Adoptions Team will contact you within 2–3 business days.
