Story
Patches is a stunning Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a gorgeous coat and a personality as vibrant as his coloring. This high-energy youngster is always ready for action and would thrive with an active family who enjoys running, swimming, hiking, or any adventure that lets him burn off steam. While Patches is highly dog-selective, he does enjoy playtime with certain canine friends and currently attends playgroup at the shelter. He’s friendly, outgoing, and full of life—just waiting for the right home to match his enthusiasm. To help set him up for success, his adoption comes with free training sessions from a local dog trainer, ensuring he starts his new chapter on the right paw.

Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Celia is the largest of her litter, and her heart is just as big. She’s a super silly, playful girl who loves to bounce around, explore, and entertain herself with anything that looks fun. Once she’s burned off her energy, she’s quick to curl up and snuggle, happily settling in for cuddles after a good play session. She’s an adventurous pup who will need a securely fenced yard to enjoy safely. No chain link, as she’s clever enough to climb it. Celia would thrive in an active, loving home that can give her plenty of playtime, structure, and the cozy affection she adores once she’s ready to conk out. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications. Once your application is received, a member of our Adoptions Team will contact you within 2–3 business days.

Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Randall is a sweet, gentle pup with a shy streak that makes him especially endearing. He loves finding cozy corners to hide in and has even been known to scoot under the couch when he wants a quiet moment to himself. Once he feels safe, his affectionate side emerges, and he becomes a warm, cuddly companion who loves being close to his people. He may take a little time to come out of his shell, but the reward is a deeply loving pup who bonds strongly and snuggles wholeheartedly. Randall will need a securely fenced yard to explore safely, and no chain link fencing, as he can climb. He would thrive in a patient, calm home that can offer him reassurance, soft places to relax, and all the love he’s ready to give. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Boo is the sweetest little cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. She is a very gentle puppy who loves nothing more than snuggling close, giving soft kisses, and staying right by your side. Boo gets along wonderfully with other dogs, even big ones, and is friendly with cats. Her favorite time of day is nap time, preferably curled up next to her favorite human. When she’s not snoozing, she enjoys playing in the backyard and is doing a great job learning to go potty outside. She doesn’t see very well, especially at a distance, but she gets around beautifully and quickly learns how to navigate new spaces. Loud or sudden things can surprise her, but she is growing braver and more confident each day as she learns her world is safe. For Boo’s safety, a securely fenced yard is required for adoption. Chain link fencing will not work, as she is capable of climbing. She would thrive in a calm, caring home that appreciates a tender, snuggly companion who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and close to her family. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Story
Roz is our very own Monsters Inc mama, and yes, she is “always watching.” With her wonderfully expressive eyes and her calm, observant nature, she takes her self-assigned role as household supervisor very seriously. Whether she’s perched on the back of the couch or stationed by a window, Roz likes to keep tabs on everything happening in her domain, all while looking endearingly dramatic about it. Behind the intense gaze is the sweetest, most easygoing girl you could ask for. She loves a soft couch, a good nap, and a clear view of the neighborhood happenings. Roz is great with other dogs and isn’t reactive to sights or sounds, making her a peaceful, steady presence in any home. She would thrive with a family that appreciates a gentle companion with a very committed dedication to watching over her people. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Art is a calm, laid-back little guy who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for ear rubs and quiet company. He wants to be wherever you are and enjoys spending time with the other dogs, joining in on play when he feels brave. He’s on the smaller side, and big or loud things can still startle him, but his confidence grows a little more each day as he learns the world isn’t so scary. He has a bit of trouble seeing things from a distance, but he gets around beautifully and doesn’t let it slow him down. Art listens well, has an impressive recall already, and happily tucks himself into his favorite heated cat cave bed when he’s ready for sleep. For Art’s safety, a securely fenced yard is required for adoption. Chain link fencing will not work, as he is capable of climbing. He is a gentle, sweet-natured pup with the softest soul, and he would thrive in a loving home that appreciates a calm companion who simply wants to be close to his person. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States.
