Story
Olympia is a super sweet Red bone Coonhound Catahoula mix. She is about 40 pounds and super sweet. She loves to play fetch, go for hikes and wrestle with her brother. She is crate trained and potty trained at her foster home.. She takes good care of her brother Ocean who is sight impaired so if they could be adopted together that would be great. If interested in adopting, please visit www.masrescue.org and click on "Adopt Here". You will find the adoption application at the bottom of the page. Beginning June 30th, 2017, MAS Rescue will charge a $10 non refundable administrative application processing fee. 100% of this fee will be for our rescued animals in need. To be clear: 1. No dog application will be processed until the $10 fee is paid via PayPal link on our website: http://www.masrescue.org/helpus.html. 2. The $10 is non refundable. Should you be approved and adopt an animal through MAS Rescue, you will receive a $10 credit to your adoption fee. 3. Paying the application fee is in no way a guarantee that you will be approved to adopt an animal through MAS Rescue. All of the same standards in processing applications still apply. See our policies and procedures: http://www.masrescue.org/pnp.html 4. By submitting an application and paying the $10 application fee, you agree to the terms listed above. If you do not adopt through MAS Rescue or your application is rejected, this serves as your notice of the application fee policy. The adoption fee is $300.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. We understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This puppy has been examined by our vet, and provided with first vaccinations and initial preventatives. Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that a young puppy benefits greatly with proper socialization. We will only place puppies in homes where they have the opportunity to be with someone all day, travel to work, or have special arrangements, such as Puppy Day Care, Dog Walker, etc. Puppies benefit greatly from Obedience Training - and we encourage you to check out http://www.pupsdogobediencetraining.com/ . They offer a great discount for training of puppies coming from MAS Rescue! Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling. Remember, adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your new furry friend; dogs could live 15 years or more!!

Story
Ocean is such a beautiful sweet soul. He is playful despite being sight impaired. He has been diagnosed with microphthalmia which is when they eyeballs are smaller than normal. He has had surgery to remove his third eyelids from the corneas and can now see about 60-70%. He will always have blindspots but gets around really well once he is comfortable. His sister takes very good care of him and so we would prefer they are adopted together. If not Ocean will need to be adopted with another dog that is willing to engage with him and be his guide. Story
Miley is a gorgeous puppy, with stunning eyes. She is so pretty and sweet. She is being fostered with children, cats, other dogs. I was told she is housetrained, but new circumstances require reinforcement, and never guaranteed. Miley was rescued from a very difficult situation where she was neglected. In the last photo you will see Miley in a cast. Her forelimb was broken and needed repair. Miley is now healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, tested, spayed, and on preventions. If you feel that Miley is your new family member, email marysmutts05@gmail.com to request an application. The adoption fee is $400. Thank you for considering adoption of a homeless companion!!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rye is searching for her forever home as the only animal so that she can soak up all the attention from her humans! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Rye is the most lovely creature and will love you unconditionally. She has a very cute curly tail and when she wags it, your heart will explode. She's a very go with the glow dog, and just happy to be around her people. She likes to go on walks and is well mannered on leash, even with lots of distractors like people, loud sounds, other dogs, and other random city things like scooters and suitcases. Rye is super smart and knows a million tricks, she's very food and praise motivated, always wanting to check in with you and make you smile. She rarely barks in the house, is crate trained, potty trained, and does well being left alone for a typical work day. Rye is very low maintenance and one of the easiest fosters I've never had the pleasure to care for. Rye has spent 2.5 of her 3 years of life in a rescue or foster, after being adopted as a baby (fit in our founder's palm she was so tiny!!) she was returned at 7 months due to a lifestyle change during COVID. Eventually, Rye was saved by our founder when she was going to be euthanized for space in another organization, and has been with her in foster ever since. While Rye loves her foster home and her foster mom, she's excited for a forever home full of treats, love, training, and cuddles. ATTRIBUTES: Rye can not go to a home with cats or kids. ------------ Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs. Since we rely on donations to compensate for those deficits we are unable to reduce or refund this fee. TO ADOPT OR FOSTER: Please apply on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org if you have questions! TO DONATE: Please consider making a donation on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org so that Laila's Legacy can continue to provide lifesaving medical treatment and training.
