Hopper is one of four adorable puppies born to momma Junebug, a 2–3 year old Catahoula mix who weighs about 35–40 pounds (pic included). This sweet little family found themselves in a crowded shelter in Alabama, but thankfully K-9 Lifesavers stepped in and brought them to safety. Now these cuties are ready to find forever homes of their very own! Like any typical puppy, this little guy is sweet, playful, friendly and full of puppy fun. At this young age, he is in his prime for training, socialization and learning all about the big world around him. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
