Story
Hi! My name is Bandito, and I am from Arkansas! From his foster: Bandito has been in a foster home for several months, and he has made meaningful, hard-earned progress. He now happily sleeps in bed with his foster (a big win!), and he’s starting to seek out gentle affection on his own terms, a huge milestone for a dog who is learning to feel safe. His kennel remains his cozy safe space, and when he’s out, he’s curious about what’s happening around the house and enjoys being nearby, even if he’s not quite ready to fully settle in with the group yet. With patience and consistency, his confidence continues to grow. Bandito is working with a trainer, and everyone agrees that slow, thoughtful progress is the key to his success. He would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes. A securely fenced yard is essential, as leashes are still scary for him. Bandito may always be a sensitive soul, but in the right environment, with a patient person who understands that trust takes time, he can absolutely continue to blossom. He is proof that progress doesn’t have to be fast to be meaningful, and he’s waiting for the special home that will celebrate every step forward with him.

Hi, my name is Holly and I am from Kentucky! From her foster: Holly is a very sweet puppy who enjoys taking long naps because she is still growing, when she is awake she enjoys playing with her toys, she potty training and does well with a schedule. She sleeps well in her crate at night and during the day, though it takes a bit to settle down in there. When not in the crate and I leave the room she and her sister can be quite vocal until I return, so still working on puppy training!

Story
Hi, my name is Anastasia and I am from Texas! From her foster: Anastasia is an energic, happy puppy who loves to play with her dogs friends, her people, or both - she's not picky! She is getting the hang of potty training, and is doing well with consistent let outs. She sleeps through the night in her kennel, and will let you know when she's ready to start her day! She has access to a fenced back yard and loves to run around and explore. She is higher energy so would do well with a heavy dose of daily activity or a dog friend to play with. She is smart and learning very quickly. She knows some commands and we're working on good manners as she loves to greet you feet first! As a Catahoula mix, she would really benefit from consistent training so she can be the best version of herself, as well as the best family member and playmate!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Gorgeous Girl Gator (~2y., 50lb) has spent over a year in shelter and foster care down in Alabama, and she is so ready to finally experience the love of her very own forever family! Don’t let her name fool you—she may have outgrown her puppy teefs, but she’s still 100% sweetness, charm, and joy. Gator is an outgoing, friendly social butterfly who lights up when she meets new people. She adores making friends—human and canine alike—and her tail seems to have only two modes: wagging fast and wagging faster. She’s the kind of pup who greets life with enthusiasm and warmth, making everyone around her smile. She loves running around the yard, exploring all the good sniffs, and settling in for long naps on her fluffy dog bed. Gator is doing great with her potty, leash, and crate training, and she’s eager to keep learning. While she enjoys other dogs, Gator especially appreciates hanging out with similar to lower-energy who match her vibe. She’d be happy living with or without another canine companion. She’s also been good with the kids she’s met—though as an enthusiastic youngster, she may accidentally knock over very small kiddos during playtime. Gator isn't a fan of felines, so a house without cats would be ideal.  Being a clever young working-breed mix (Catahoula Leopard Dog, Great Pyrenees, Labrador), Gator is highly trainable and would shine with continued obedience work or even agility. She’s already a snuffle-puzzle champion in the making! Gator’s ideal home includes (but isn’t limited to): • Humans who love walks, outdoor adventures, or fun activities and want a cheerful copilot • A friend to pal around with (optional but appreciated!) • Someone patient and excited to train and learn with her • A big, cozy dog bed—this one is non-negotiable according to Gator • Plenty of toys, enrichment, and sniffer games • Space to run, play, and explore If you’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, affectionate girl who will brighten every day, Gator is ready to bring her huge heart and happy spirit home to you   If you would like to learn more about Gator, please submit an interest form on our website:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN *Adoption fee for Gator is $550 + MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, DHPP vaccine series, Lepto. vaccine series, rabies vaccine, heartworm test (negative),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 29, 2026, 3:00 pm
