This sweet girl is affectionate, gentle, and an absolute cuddle-bug once she feels safe. She can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and she’ll show you her loyal, loving soul. Iris is dog-friendly and truly prefers having canine companions around. She feels most confident when she has dog friends nearby and thrives in a home where she isn’t the only four-legged heartbeat. She’s also a bit protective of her people, the good kind that watches over you with quiet devotion. One of her most endearing quirks? Her goofy, crooked smile. Iris curls one side of her lip up and shows her teeth, which might look intimidating at first glance, but it’s actually her way of saying “I trust you.” It’s a submissive, affectionate gesture and one of the many things that makes her uniquely Iris. She’s fully committed to outdoor pottying and will not use potty pads. Outside is the only acceptable bathroom in her world. He's a playful, goofy companion who enjoys structured training and has shown he can socialize with other dogs under supervision. However, Butler will thrive best as the only dog in the home, where he can receive the focused guidance he needs to succeed. In a home setting with his trainer, Butler has made impressive progress living among a pack of dogs. He's e-collar trained, housebroken, crate trained, and has excellent leash skills. His trainer has witnessed firsthand that with structure and leadership, Butler shines and is a joy to be around. Butler is a fantastic candidate for a strong and experienced handler familiar with powerful breeds. He would make a wonderful adventure buddy and is highly trainable, but he does need clear boundaries and consistent guidance.
