Story
Oden is two years old & incredibly bright. He is from Florida (I know the parents) & the joke is he got all the “ink”. His brothers are less & less colorful leaving his brother, Goose, pretty much all white. Odin can sit, touch hagently each side of his face, provide paw by side (R/L), lay down, come, hold (on his leash). But people… he protects his home and barks loudly. And he can protect people sometimes too much. He loves belly rubs, loves to be combed. He needs to reminded to sit up to have his nails trimmed because he wants to lay down and sleep. He loves hugs, and will nudge you for nose kisses. He loves sleeping on a pillow and being tucked in with a blanket (yes, he is a baby). He loves chasing rabbits and any other wildlife. He will chew on toys that squeak until they don’t. He learned to take the caps off empty water bottles and give them to you, and smash the bottles. He is really a great dog who needs a great home. He comes with a bed, toys, holiday collars, food and love.

Tootie is a cutie patootie! This sweet girl was found as a stray in Morrow County and is 20 lbs at 6 months old. She has a personality and incredible markings that seem consistent with a Beagle and Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. If you have interest in this girl, please know that Catahoula Leopard Dogs are characterized as energetic, independent, loyal, and require extensive physical exercise and mental stimulation. They are best suited for experienced owners with active lifestyles. All of that said, Tootie is super sweet, submissive and gets along well with other dogs. She will also do well with dog savvy cats. Tootie is making great progress with house training, and is still working on crate training. She loves being with her human friends, and sleeps like an angel in her human's bed! Tootie's adoption fee is $250 fully vetted. Save Ohio Strays does not have a shelter. Zeus is approximately 15-16 months old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm and flea prevention.  Zeus is good with other dogs but does take some time to warm up to "strangers". Give him about 15 minutes! We do suggest no cats or children under the age of 10. He's pretty exuberant and may scare children. He would love a doggy friend! He is very high energy due to his past. He is also a love bug and loves to snuggle once he calms down. He is crate trained and if there is another dog in the home, would do best with meals in his crate. He does guard toys and food from other dogs but not his humans! If you have the time and patience to give this baby boy his forever, best home, please fill out an application.March 7, 2026, 11:41 am
