Meet Marshall! He was pulled by a local dog shelter when they became dangerously full. Although Marshall is an older guy he still has A LOT of energy. Marshall is a Treeing Walker Coonhound that is on the large size at 80 pounds. He will require a fenced yard when outdoors as he will follow his nose. Marshall also needs some leash manners training as he is a very strong boy. He loves people and attention and does not mind other dogs. Because of his hound tendencies we do recommend a home without cats. He can have a bit of a loud bark when he is excited but he is not a continual barker here at the shelter. He is such a sweet and handsome hound, stop in and meet him today!Marshall's adoption fee is $35 thanks to the Dobec family. This includes: Bordetella Vaccine, DHPP Vaccine, Microchip, Flea Treatment, Dewormer & Spay/Neuter Surgery. As well as age appropriate Heartworm Testing & Rabies Vaccine. We also just got him a dental done!!

Hello, I`m Mojo! Looking for someone tall and handsome? Well, here I am! I am gangly, sweet, and so very affectionate. Want to know something crazy? I was passed around a lot before I came to the shelter. Home to home, but no one wanted to love me for always. The staff and volunteers don`t get it...I`m one of the best dogs they`ve ever had (or at least they tell me that every day). I love to go on walks and explore the world. I love other dogs and making friends. I cuddle for pets and bay into the sunshine when it warms my heart. I think some people miss what is right in front of them and take good hearts for granted. I know that the next family who meets me will protect me, love me, and stay with me always. Is it you? Come meet me today, you won`t be disappointed (I promise). If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
