Story
Mr. Beans is a 70 lb, 1.5-year-old, neutered big ol' love of a guy! He's the sweetest boy who loves everyone and everything. He loves toys, treats, cuddles, running, hiking, and playing with doggie friends. Mr. Beans knows basic manners such as sit, down, stay, go to bed (his kennel) and out. He is crate-trained, house-trained, and walks wonderfully on leash. He will pull some if he has a doggie friend walking with him, but he's learning to overcome that too. He has been on many out-of-state hiking trips and loves them. He also loves to run alongside a bike! Mr. Beans was adopted when he was around 6-months-old and did wonderful in that home. However, he was sadly returned because he can climb a chain link fence and kept trying to play with the neighbor's horses. He is easily contained with a standard 6 ft wood fence though, so most homes are suitable for him! He is the best boy and his future family will be so lucky to have him!!!

Story
Buck belonged to our Dad. However, our Dad is not really in a position to take care of a dog any longer because of his age. Buck is a great dog though! He is very good at walking and well trained to not pull. He is gentle around our kids in the house and during his foster period he has integrated in with our existing house cat and other dog without any issues whatsoever. He is very gentle and loves to snuggle up next to you while watching tv or just relaxing! He would make a great house pet for anyone. From single persons who need a companion to families with children. He is well mannered and housetrained. We even can provide the kennel, bowls, and harness/leash to a willing adopter!

This pretty girl is Blue Bayou. She was found as a stray and just so happened to wonder up to the right house before the winter wonderland we call Oklahoma weather in Feb. Bayou is estimated to be a 1 year old Catahoula mix. She weighs around 45 lbs and should not get much bigger. Bayou is pure happiness wrapped in a beautiful, speckled coat! She’s friendly, affectionate and full of life. She LOVES other dogs and thrives in an active home with another playful pup to wrestle and run with. She is a playtime enthusiast - toys, Zoomies and adventures with her people are where she thrives! Toys? Obsessed. Dog park? Best day ever. Kids? Yes, please! Cats? A little too interesting—so no cats for Bayou 🏡 Bayou’s Perfect Home: ✔️ Another playful dog for companionship ✔️ A secure stockade fence for safe playtime ✔️ A family ready to give her plenty of exercise & fun A home visit is required. Blue Bayou is crated & leash trained and potty trained to a doggy door. Bayou is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on heartworm preventative and microchipped. This lovely girl is CiCi! CiCi is an approximately 7.5-month-old female Catahoula mix who will be the perfect size at 35-45 lbs. as an adult. Rescued from a local shelter, CiCi had severe mange (no hair at all due to a mite infection). She has come so far in healing! (hair is still coming in on her face). But she has a clean bill of health to go up for adoption! Cici doesn't know a stranger, she is very fun, friendly and outgoing. Loves to play with other dogs and does need another playful dog in her adoptive home. She also needs a securely stockade fenced backyard to run and play in (not a good apartment dog). She has been excellent with the children that she has met at outreaches. CiCi won't be too small or too big, the perfect size as an adult! She is crate-trained. House-trained for the most part (with an occasional accident). She will need continued assistance with leash training. CiCi is spayed, current on vaccines, on heart-worm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. To adopt CiCi, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.
