Story
Meet Pirate! His past was not great as a badly neglected roof dog in Mexico. A kind neighbour once took him to the vet to have his eye removed when it became badly infected but his life on the roof, exposed to the elements with little food or water, did not improve. Eventually, Pirate was removed from the home by authorities and he was taken to a shelter where he was likely to be euthanized. He was a favourite of shelter volunteers since there wasn't a human he did not LOVE. Lucky for Pirate, he was pulled by Pye Dog Rescue and brought to Canada. Pirate LOVES people so much he can barely contain himself. He is happy and exuberant and will jump on people because he does not know any better. We think it is best that he not go to a home with small children but would be fine with older and respectful kids. He is dog selective but may do well in a home with another calm, submissive dog. He integrated well with several other dogs at a rescue while waiting to come to Canada. We think Pirata will be an amazing companion and he would thrive in a quieter setting with a big fenced yard where he can run around and be silly. He does seem to have a prey drive so a home with no cats or small animals would be ideal. Are you ready to be his forever home? COMPLETE THE ADOPTION APPLICATION AT: https://tinyurl.com/33ztv23z

Story
Woof! I`m Butterbean, the unstoppable force of fur and fun! Life`s an adventure, and I`m here to embrace every moment with my wagging tail and boundless energy. Sure, I may be a bit of a handful, but that just means there`s more of me to love, right?I`m on the lookout for an owner who`s as active and enthusiastic as I am. Someone who can keep up with my zoomies and toss a ball for hours on end. Training? Bring it on! I`m eager to learn and soak up all the knowledge you`ve got to offer. Now, about that socializing thing... I`m still figuring it out. Other dogs seem pretty cool, but sometimes I get a little too excited and forget my manners. With some practice and patience, though, I know I`ll get the hang of it.And yeah, I`ll admit it—I`ve got a bit of a bark on me. But hey, that`s just my way of saying hello to the world! A house with plenty of space to romp around would suit me just fine. When I`m not zooming around, I`ve got a soft spot for cuddles and snuggles. There`s nothing like curling up with my favorite human after a long day of adventures. So, if you`re up for the challenge and ready to share your life with a pup who`s equal parts mischief and love, then I`m your guy. Let`s make memories together that`ll last a lifetime! Woof! Please call the East Shelter to start the adoption process for Butterbean.

Story
Nico is a very handsome boy with beautiful eyes. He needs to be on a strict routine. He shouldn't be in a home with young kids. He would have to be the only pet. He is strong and stubborn. He needs someone who will be consistent with him. He isn't friendly to other animals. He is very loyal and protective to his person. He needs a home with a yard. He needs a home where it is strict and the person(s) are patient. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Inquire about setting up a meet and greet.       ##1501785##
