✨ AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ✨ Chase | Male | 4–5 Years | Ridgeback/Boxer Mix | Neutered | Vaccinated | Microchipped | Good with Dogs, Cats & Kids 🐾 Meet Chase — The Sweet, Snuggly, Heart-of-Gold Companion 🐾 Chase is a handsome 4–5-year-old Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a smile so bright it could light up a whole room. Affectionate, loyal, and endlessly eager to be part of your day, Chase is the kind of dog who makes every moment sweeter just by being there. This boy LOVES his people — truly. He’s happiest cuddled up beside you, melting into belly rubs, or following you from room to room with soft eyes and a wagging tail. If there’s love to be given or received, Chase is already on it. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, though he can be a little shy with new people (especially men) at first. Give him a gentle greeting and a moment to feel safe, and soon you’ll have a snuggly shadow who adores you completely. Chase is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an excellent fit for a wide range of families. Chase enjoys walks and has a fun, playful energy — but he’s equally thrilled to settle in for a cozy evening once the excitement winds down. He still pulls a little on leash, but he listens beautifully when you pause, let him calm, and ask for a sit. He’s housetrained, a great car passenger, and sleeps soundly through the night… ideally snuggled close to his humans. What Chase wants most is a family who will include him, love him, guide him, and give him the connection he’s always craved. In return, he’ll give you unwavering loyalty, full-body wiggles, soft kisses, and that big, goofy grin that could melt any heart. 💛

✨ AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ✨ Bailey | Female | 3 Years | Ridgeback/Boxer Mix | ~85 lbs | Spayed | Vaccinated | Microchipped | Good with Dogs, Dog-Savvy Cats & Kids 🐾 Meet Bailey — Your Daily Dose of Joy 🐾 If you’ve been dreaming of a dog who’s equal parts snuggle buddy, comedian, and gentle giant, allow us to introduce Bailey — the big-hearted girl who believes every day is a good day when there’s love to share. Bailey’s specialty? Cozying up beside her people and melting into the world’s most contented cuddle puddle. She’s a champion napper, A+ kisser, and all-around ray of sunshine who brings laughter with her goofy, lovable antics. Bailey can be a little exuberant when meeting new friends — her greeting style is very “HI I LOVE YOU ALREADY!” — so she’d thrive best with older kids who can handle her enthusiastic, wiggly affection. She’s wonderful with other dogs (especially those closer to her size) and respectful of dog-savvy cats who prefer their personal space. On leash, Bailey is still working on her excitement levels. When she spots a dog or human she wants to say hello to, her whole body lights up — which can look like pulling or lunging from sheer joy, never aggression. With patience, positive reinforcement, and a bit more practice, she’s well on her way to becoming a walking superstar. Inside the home, Bailey is calm, grounded, and beautifully behaved. She settles easily, is non-destructive, and is perfectly happy to snooze while you’re out living your human life. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving, delightfully silly companion who brings warmth and happiness everywhere she goes, Bailey might just be your perfect match. 💛

Story
**Note: Guzzi is in a foster home in Pickering, ON Background: Guzzi was rescued from a dog meat farm in Ganghwa, Korea, alongside 50 other dogs in December 2022. She lived at our boarding house with other dogs until she left Korea. Curerntly, she lives with another dog in a foster home in Pickering, ON. Personality and Socialization: Guzzi is a calm, gentle girl with a medium energy level. Initially a bit shy, Guzzi warms up quickly with a little patience. She has a gentle, laid-back nature and has been a well-behaved girl at the boarding house. Once she gets to know you, she becomes very friendly and affectionate. She enjoys being around people but isn’t demanding—when left alone, she waits patiently and remains calm. She gets along well with other dogs, particularly those with a friendly and easygoing nature. She’s respectful of boundaries and understands when another dog needs space, waiting patiently without pushing. Guzzi has not been tested with cats or young children. Behavior and Training: Indoors, Guzzi is quiet and well-mannered, making her an easy companion. She handles car rides, vet visits, and even baths with patience—though she may feel a little nervous at first, she looks to her humans for reassurance. On walks, she follows her humans well but may feel a bit nervous in unfamiliar environments. With her affectionate and trusting nature, Guzzi thrives in a calm environment where she feels secure and loved. Health and Diet: Guzzi is in good health—she’s fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, with clear parasite tests, including heartworm. She takes monthly parasite prevention and eats dry kibble twice a day with no known allergies. Ideal Home: Guzzi’s gentle and adaptable personality makes her a good fit for many types of homes. Whether she’s the only dog, or part of a family with another canine companion. She would love a home where she can enjoy leisurely walks and cozy moments with her family. Having waited two years for a place to call her own, Guzzi is ready to begin her new life. After surviving the cruelty of the dog meat trade, she deserves the warmth of a loving home where she will be cherished. Whoever adopts this loving girl would be very lucky. Story
**Note: Currently, Bentley is in Korea, but she will fly to Vancouver once she is adopted. Background Bentley was rescued in December 2022 from a dog meat farm in Ganghwa, Korea. Since then, she has been living safely at our partner boarding house, where she has shared space with other dogs. She also spent time at our manager’s home alongside both cats and dogs, though the two were mostly kept separate. Personality & Socialization Bentley is a gentle and affectionate girl with a medium energy level. She loves being close to her humans, enjoying snuggles and quiet companionship. With other dogs, she does well as long as they are calm and friendly. She isn’t a fan of pushy or overly dominant dogs and prefers her space when needed, but as long as others respect her boundaries, she gets along just fine. Behaviors Bentley is a wonderfully easy companion. She is quiet, rarely barks, and has shown no destructive behaviors. She is well-mannered at the vet, during car rides, and even bath time. On walks, she follows her human’s lead beautifully and enjoys exploring at a relaxed pace. Health & Diet Bentley is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She has been dewormed, takes monthly parasite preventatives, and has passed a full veterinary checkup with no health concerns. She has shown no signs of allergies and enjoys her dry food meals twice a day. Ideal Home Bentley would thrive in a calm and loving home with a family experienced in caring for larger dogs. A quiet house with a fenced backyard would suit her best, rather than a busy condo setting. She would love to be with someone who is home often—whether retired or working from home—so she doesn’t spend long hours alone. While she can get along with respectful dogs, Bentley would be happiest as the only pet where she can soak up all the love and attention. ------------------------ For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/bentley/
