When help finally arrived, they were terrified, hiding and unsure of humans. It took two full days of patience, kindness, and determination for a foster to earn their trust and bring them to safety. King spent the next couple of months learning what it meant to be cared for, discovering full bowls, soft beds, and gentle hands. As he grew, his adventurous spirit kicked in, and he became a talented little escape artist, making it clear he needed a safer place to continue his journey. Today, King is a sweet, sensitive soul with a heart full of love. Hes still learning that the world isnt such a scary place, but with a calm, understanding home and a confident canine friend by his side, he blossoms into an affectionate, loyal companion who will quietly steal your heart. Nico is a very handsome boy with beautiful eyes. He needs to be on a strict routine. He shouldn't be in a home with young kids. He would have to be the only pet. He is strong and stubborn. He needs someone who will be consistent with him. He isn't friendly to other animals. He is very loyal and protective to his person. He needs a home with a yard. He needs a home where it is strict and the person(s) are patient. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Inquire about setting up a meet and greet.       ##1501785##

Story
Daltons story began on a quiet stretch of Kentucky countryside, where he and his sister, Delta, wandered up to a kind mans home looking for safety. The two looked almost identical, though Delta was just a little bigger than her brother. Tired, hungry, and unsure of the world around them, they stayed close together while the man cared for them for several weeks, making sure they had food, shelter, and kindness before eventually bringing them to the shelter in hopes they could find loving forever homes. From the moment Dalton arrived, it was easy to see what a special soul he is. Beneath his timid nature is one of the sweetest and calmest dogs you could ever meet. The world still feels a little big and uncertain to him, and sometimes he whines softly when hes nervous or looking for reassurance. More than anything, Dalton simply wants to know that he is safe and loved. Despite his fears, Daltons gentle heart shines through in every interaction. He leans into affection, watches people with hopeful eyes, and seems to relax a little more each time someone offers him patience and kindness. He has a soft, tender spirit that would make him a wonderful family dog. Dalton is the kind of companion who would happily lay by your side, quietly soaking up love and giving it right back tenfold. What Dalton needs most is a family willing to help him build confidence and show him that life can be full of comfort, security, and happiness. With a little patience and a lot of love, this sweet Kentucky boy is sure to blossom into the loyal, loving best friend he was always meant to be. He finds comfort in the presence of other dogs and gains confidence by watching and playing with his siblings and foster friends. With time, consistency, and a home that understands his gentle nature, Sir Kyle will continue to blossom. He doesnt rush into lifehe grows into it, one trusting step at a timeand the family who gives him that chance will be rewarded with a loyal, deeply loving companion.
