Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Woody – your soon-to-be best buddy! Okay, okay — I know I look like a model with this stunning brindle coat (stop blushing), but I promise I’m more than just a handsome face. I’m a certified goofball with a heart of gold, and I’ve got big dreams of finding my forever family. Could it be you? Let me tell you a little about myself: I love other dogs — playtime is my jam! I think cats are kind of mysterious and cool… and I’d love to be their friend someday (fingers crossed they feel the same!). Kids? Love ‘em. I’m gentle, sweet, and always up for play or snuggles. I recently graduated from a 5 week obedience class after completing a 3-week training program (honor roll, obviously) and I’ve mastered all the important stuff — but my real talents are cuddles, kisses, and being ridiculously lovable. I'm going to be starting a higher level obedience class, which will transfer to my new family, if I'm adopted while the class is still in session. My foster mom is hoping to get me certified as a therapy dog so I can go to hospitals and school....Won't that be fun!! I’ve got plenty of energy and would make a great running or hiking buddy. But don’t worry — I’m equally committed to lazy Sundays on the couch. I’m basically the best of both worlds! So... what do you say? Let’s make some memories together. Head over to Buffalocares.org and fill out an application. I’ll be waiting (tail wagging, of course). Adoption Fee: $475 Rescue Registration: RR48 Love always, Woody  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
TysonMaleMixed breed1 year old (12/09/23)36lbsTyson is a lovable pup with a gentle heart and an inspiring story. Originally from Georgia, Tyson has been with Buddy’s Rescue since he was a baby. Adopted as a young pup, he unfortunately found himself back in the rescue through no fault of his own. Along the way, he developed EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), a manageable condition that simply requires a sprinkle of enzyme powder on his meals to help with digestion. This small step keeps Tyson healthy and thriving. Despite his journey, Tyson’s playful spirit and loving nature shine brightly. He’s a snuggly, happy boy who might even make you laugh with an occasional toot—just part of his charm!Tyson is still learning to trust new people, which is understandable given his journey. He’s made great strides in his current foster home and is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who he can bond with, and can help him continue to grow. He’s crate-trained but also perfectly content snoozing on his dog bed—or sharing yours if you let him!Tyson thrives in a calm home, so one without children is best for now. He enjoys playing with other dogs at Buddy’s daycare but will need proper introductions to new dog friends. He hasn’t met any cats yet.If you’re someone with patience, a big heart, and the desire to give a deserving dog the safe and loving home he’s been waiting for, Tyson just might be your perfect match.Ready to meet Tyson? if you’re already approved, send an email to request a meet-and-greet!
