Story
I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Marlene’s journey started on the streets, before her foster was finally able to bring her to safety. Now she’s warm, loved, and ready to find her forever family. This sweet girl is shy at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle personality shines. She’s also won over by food—a few treats go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and connected. Marlene thrives with the companionship of other dogs. Having a confident canine friend boosts her own confidence, and she can happily play with them all day long. She is crate trained and housebroken. Marlene would do best in a calmer home with older children, as quick or unexpected movements can still startle her. With patience, kindness, and a steady routine, she’ll continue to blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion she was always meant to be. Marlene is ready for a family who can give her the love and reassurance she’s been waiting for. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. Story
You know, I am named "Tuffy" but what if I am just a "Softy"?? I am an active and sweet boy and I am kind of a goofball, too. I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG puppy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or letting me into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home, so here I am, looking all buff- if you ask me :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I have time on my hands and I am a playful and fun kind of pup. BIG puppy- 65# and growing :) I am learning my manners and am making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME! SO, look me up, don't wait... APPLY!!!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
