This handsome 10-year-old Catahoula Hound mix was adopted from Wet Nose Foster Paws five years ago and is now searching for a new forever family. What makes Kahlo special? ⭐ Expert snuggler ⭐ Professional treat enthusiast ⭐ Loves sniffing adventures on walks ⭐ Puzzle toy champion ⭐ House trained ⭐ Recall trained ⭐ Knows sit, stay, down, circle, go to your spot, and more ⭐ Smart, eager to learn, and very food motivated Kahlo would love a home where he can be the center of attention. Story
Shredder is a stunning 6.5-month-old brindle boy whose proof that sometimes the best really is saved for last. The last of his litter, this handsome pup is what we like to call bomb proof—easygoing, adaptable, and ready to fit into just about any loving home. We think he's a Pittie/Catahoula mix, but whatever his DNA says, 100% of it is good boy. First things first, you should definitely watch their video: https://youtu.be/J-CijmQWwyA?si=ktlOgEK9YNi9Of5m It perfectly captures their playful, silly puppy energy. Fostered in a busy home with kids and multiple dogs, Shredder has taken everything in stride. He's incredibly well-mannered for such a young pup and already has all the basics down. He's crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is quickly becoming his foster mom's favorite running partner. If you've been dreaming of a four-legged jogging buddy, Shredder is already lacing up his imaginary sneakers. When he's not out exploring, he's happy to curl up for snuggles or entertain himself with a pile of toys. He has that perfect puppy balance of playful energy and a soft, cuddly side that melts hearts. Shredder has been around dogs of all ages and personalities and gets along wonderfully with everyone—even the grumpy senior dogs who appreciate their personal space. He'd love a canine sibling in his forever home, but he'd also thrive as your one and only as long as he has regular playdates, adventures, and opportunities to socialize. Because he's such a thoughtful, well-behaved pup, we think he has great potential to live with cats as well, and we're happy to cat test him for the right family. All Shredder is looking for is a home with a yard, lots of love, and people who are ready to include him in their adventures. Fair warning: this gorgeous brindle boy is a total head-turner. Be prepared for strangers to stop you just to ask about him everywhere you go. If you're looking for a puppy who's already mastered the important stuff while still having all the fun, joy, and adventure of puppyhood ahead of him, Shredder is ready to be your perfect match. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69a1ed94afc5f28e9c010a4d Questions? Story
Hey there, I’m Bruce. Yes, that Bruce. Strong name, handsome face, athlete-level zoomies, it all checks out. I’m a 3 year old, 80 lb. Catahoula Leopard Dog mix looking for a family that’s ready for adventure, laughter, and a little bit of lovable chaos. I’m the kind of dog who wakes up every day ready to seize the moment. Hiking, long walks, exploring every single smell on planet Earth like I’m solving an important mystery, that’s basically my full-time job. I’m an active guy who loves being out and about with my people. Now, while I may look rugged and adventurous, I’m actually a giant softie underneath all this good looks energy. I love affection from my humans. Pets are wonderful. Belly rubs are incredible. Being dramatically told I’m the most handsome boy ever created is necessary for my emotional wellbeing, honestly. I also do great with other dogs. Having dog friends is awesome because we can play together, run around, and bark at absolutely nothing as a team. As for cats, your guess is as good as mine. I’ve never really shared my superhero headquarters with them before. Now listen, every hero has their training arc, okay. I’m still learning some manners, so I’ll need a family committed to continuing my positive reinforcement training. I’m a smart boy and eager to learn, but sometimes my enthusiasm for life gets a little bigger than my brain for a moment. Because of that, I’d do best with kids over the age of 9 who understand dog boundaries and can give me space when I need to decompress. I’m a sweet boy, but I’ll thrive most with a family that understands structure, consistency, and helping me continue building confidence and good decision-making skills. At the end of the day, I’m basically the perfect mix of adventurous hiking buddy, goofy comedian, affectionate cuddle bug, and slightly chaotic wilderness explorer. If you’ve been searching for a loyal sidekick with spots, personality, and enough love to fill an entire Batcave, I’m your guy! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!
