Story
Hey there, I’m Bruce. Yes, that's Bruce. Strong name, handsome face, athlete-level zoomies, it all checks out. I’m a 3 year old, 80 lb. Catahoula Leopard Dog mix looking for a family that’s ready for adventure, laughter, and a little bit of lovable chaos. I’m the kind of dog who wakes up every day ready to seize the moment. Hiking, long walks, exploring every single smell on planet Earth like I’m solving an important mystery, that’s basically my full-time job. I’m an active guy who loves being out and about with my people. Now, while I may look rugged and adventurous, I’m actually a giant softie underneath all this good looks energy. I love affection from my humans. Pets are wonderful. Belly rubs are incredible. Being dramatically told I’m the most handsome boy ever created is necessary for my emotional wellbeing, honestly. I also do great with most other dogs. Having dog friends is awesome because we can play together, run around, and bark at absolutely nothing as a team. As for cats, I’ve never really shared my superhero headquarters with them before. I met several here at the sanctuary and I didn't pay much attention to them so slow, supervised introductions will be best for me. Now listen, every hero has their training arc, okay. I’m still learning some manners, so I’ll need a family committed to continuing my positive reinforcement training. I’m a smart boy and eager to learn, but sometimes my enthusiasm for life gets a little bigger than my brain for a moment. Because of that, I’d do best with kids over the age of 9 who understand dog boundaries and can give me space when I need to decompress. I’m a sweet boy, but I’ll thrive most with a family that understands structure, consistency, and helping me continue building confidence and good decision-making skills. At the end of the day, I’m basically the perfect mix of adventurous hiking buddy, goofy comedian, affectionate cuddle bug, and slightly chaotic wilderness explorer. If you’ve been searching for a loyal sidekick with spots, personality, and enough love to fill an entire Batcave, I’m your guy! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX)

Story
Marlene’s journey started on the streets, before her foster was finally able to bring her to safety. Now she’s warm, loved, and ready to find her forever family. This sweet girl is shy at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle personality shines. She’s also won over by food—a few treats go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and connected. Marlene thrives with the companionship of other dogs. Having a confident canine friend boosts her own confidence, and she can happily play with them all day long. She is crate trained and housebroken. Marlene would do best in a calmer home with older children, as quick or unexpected movements can still startle her. With patience, kindness, and a steady routine, she’ll continue to blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion she was always meant to be. Marlene is ready for a family who can give her the love and reassurance she’s been waiting for. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners.
