Story
Nyla is a 4-month-old female Catahoula mix who is still discovering the big, busy world around her. She’s a shy girl at first and will need a patient, kind adopter who can guide her with positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement. Once she feels safe, Nyla shows her sweet side and forms loving bonds with her people. As she grows, she’s expected to become a big, gentle giant—soft-hearted, loyal, and full of quiet affection.

Story
Hi! My name is Avery, and I’m a happy, playful girl with a big heart and lots of love to give. I absolutely love playing fetch and running around outside—especially when the weather is warm and perfect for playtime. When I’m done burning off energy, you’ll usually find me curled up close, soaking up all the cuddles I can get.I’m crate trained and doing really well with my potty training—almost there! Since I’m still teething, I really enjoy my chew toys and do great when I have them to keep me busy. I’m not fearful, don’t have separation anxiety, and I do wonderfully with children of all ages.I’m still learning about the world and would love a family that’s excited to grow with me, play with me, and cuddle with me. I’m ready to be part of a loving forever family—maybe that’s yours! My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays

Story
This sweet girl is 5 years old and originally belonged to my brother, who has since passed away. After his death, she was left living a life she didn’t choose — spending most of her years outdoors on a chain with very little socialization. Because of that, she is extremely energetic and craves attention. She isn’t aggressive — she simply never learned boundaries or basic training and is now discovering what affection feels like. Since being in my care, she has gained healthy weight, looks great, and shows just how loving and people-oriented she truly is. I believe she is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, which explains her intelligence, loyalty, and high energy. She will need a patient, committed adopter who understands under-socialized dogs and is willing to invest time in training and structure. She is not yet spayed; adoption will include a spay agreement. She will never live on a chain again. I am dedicated to finding her a responsible, loving home where she can finally thrive.
