Looking to rehome our Catahoula mix, Scarlette. She is sweet, not aggressive at all, but very high energy & needs room to run around! We don’t have that to offer her anymore. Scarlette is great with kids and other dogs, we are not a cat family so I’m unsure on how she’d be with them. She is spayed & microchipped. Scarlette knows sit, shake, down, easy & can catch treats. She is fully house trained, but does have accidents in her crate sometimes (its due to her high energy & no where to run around anymore, as she didn’t do this when she had a yard to run in). She will occasionally whine/bark when she doesn’t want to be in her crate, but is quiet any other time. Scarlette is 51lbs, 9 months old - birthday 4/7/25. She will come with a crate and an elevated feeder. I am asking a small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a good home.

This sweet girl is 5 years old and originally belonged to my brother, who has since passed away. After his death, she was left living a life she didn’t choose — spending most of her years outdoors on a chain with very little socialization. Because of that, she is extremely energetic and craves attention. She isn’t aggressive — she simply never learned boundaries or basic training and is now discovering what affection feels like. Since being in my care, she has gained healthy weight, looks great, and shows just how loving and people-oriented she truly is. I believe she is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. She will need a patient, committed adopter who understands under-socialized dogs and is willing to invest time in training and structure. She is not yet spayed; adoption will include a spay agreement. I will refund $50 when spayed. She will never live on a chain again. I am dedicated to finding her a responsible, loving home where she can finally thrive.
