Story
Meet sweet Kimmy! Kimmy is a 2 year old catahoula mix who came to us from a local shelter. She is a total lovebug, active girl, with a strong pull for life, literally! She is quite strong of a gal, so she needs some extra training on leash. Kimmy loves people, she's a big snuggler and hugger! Kimmy unfortunately does not do well with other animals, dogs included, and will need a loving home as a solo pet! What she lacks in social skills, she sure does make up for in loyalty and love for her humans. She is working hard on household manners, commands, and leash skills, and is oh so ready for her forever family!! We promised Kimmy that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.

Story
Hi, my name is Cooper!I’m a goofy, loving, and loyal boy looking for a calm, forever home where I can finally feel safe and understood. I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, and no one really knows why—I`m smart, cuddly, and full of love once you get to know me!I’m not much of a barker, but I do love to “talk” to my people—my previous foster mom never quite understood what I was saying, but she always laughed and smiled. I’ve been abandoned before, so meeting new people can be scary for me. I may bark at first, but it’s just because I’m nervous. Once I trust you (especially if you bring treats), you’ll be in my pack forever.I’d do best in a quiet home with no children, or only older kids who truly understand and respect boundaries. I need a confident dog-savvy adopter who will commit to helping me build trust and confidence through positive reinforcement and patience. I’m reactive to most people when walking, so I’ll need someone who is willing to work on this with me using calm exposure and consistency.I’m house-trained, trustworthy outside of a crate, and love both outdoor adventures and couch snuggles. I’m also super food-motivated, so training with me is fun and easy! With structure, exercise, and love, I’ll show you just how amazing of a companion I can be.If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, low-key best friend, I’m your guy. I just need someone to believe in me.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Noel`s short 2 year life has not been the best. She was found stray in SC, thin, hungry and had a litter of puppies. The puppies were taken in by a local rescue but she was left behind in a rural, 10x10 kennel. She LOVES people, walks great on leash, rides well. Her issue seems to be a lack of trust in other dogs. We had her assessed and were told she could be trained due to her general sweet nature. For now, we feel a dog free home is best and if that owner would commit to training with Noel, she would likely end up learning that dogs aren`t out to hurt her and can be her friend. Noel is in paid boarding since we have no foster home for her. We hate it. Likely all she`s known in life is being stray, caged, unloved, pregnant and a hungry mama caring for her babies. Help us turn her life around! She will reward you by being a faithful companion and lots of kisses. 2 yrs. 43 lb. Spay, vaccines, microchip provided.
