Story
Noel`s life was sad. Found stray, thin, hungry, with puppies in tow. The puppies found homes, but she was left behind in a rural kennel. She LOVES people, walks great on leash, rides well. Her issue seems to be a lack of trust in other dogs. We had her assessed and were told she could be trained due to her general sweet nature. For now, we feel a dog free home is best and if an owner would commit to training for Noel, she would likely end up learning dogs aren`t out to hurt her and can be her friend. Noel is fabulous in her foster home. Adopt Noel. She will reward you by being a faithful companion and giving you lots of kisses. 2 yrs. 45 lb. Spay, vaccines, microchip provided.

Story
Hi, my name is Cooper!I’m a goofy, loving, and loyal boy looking for a calm, forever home where I can finally feel safe and understood. I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, and no one really knows why—I`m smart, cuddly, and full of love once you get to know me!I’m not much of a barker, but I do love to “talk” to my people—my previous foster mom never quite understood what I was saying, but she always laughed and smiled. I’ve been abandoned before, so meeting new people can be scary for me. I may bark at first, but it’s just because I’m nervous. Once I trust you (especially if you bring treats), you’ll be in my pack forever.I’d do best in a quiet home with no children, or only older kids who truly understand and respect boundaries. I need a confident dog-savvy adopter who will commit to helping me build trust and confidence through positive reinforcement and patience. I’m reactive to most people when walking, so I’ll need someone who is willing to work on this with me using calm exposure and consistency.I’m house-trained, trustworthy outside of a crate, and love both outdoor adventures and couch snuggles. I’m also super food-motivated, so training with me is fun and easy! With structure, exercise, and love, I’ll show you just how amazing of a companion I can be.If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, low-key best friend, I’m your guy. I just need someone to believe in me.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Meet sweet Kiki! Kiki, also known as Kimmy or Kimberly, is a 2 year old catahoula mix who came to us from a local shelter over one YEAR ago. She is a total lovebug, active girl, with a zest for life! She is quite strong on leash, but well mannered and receptive to training, getting better every day! Kiki loves people, she's a big snuggler and hugger! Kiki prefers being the only furry friend in the home, but with slow, proper introductions she gets along with well mannered dogs. What she lacks in social skills, she sure does make up for in loyalty and love for her humans. Kiki is fully housetrained, loves her crate, knows basic commands, and is far overdue for her final victory! We promised Kiki that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.

Sunshine’s name suits her perfectly! This pretty gal loves to give everyone kisses in their kennels as she walks by going inside & out. She loved getting pets from me. When I stopped for a second, she grabbed my arm with her paw & pulled it back in for more pets. She is a female Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. Sunshine is heartworm positive.
