Story
Chloe is a gorgeous girl with `icy` blue and white eyes. She has a beautiful white coat with pretty brindle patches. She will run and jump a lot in her enclosure but once out on leash, you can really get her to focus. We would love so much to see Chloe find her favorite home. We know once in a home with a routine Chloe will flourish! She has lived with other dogs here at the sanctuary. If challenged she has not been one to back down so she would need an easy going friend if she were to have a housemate. She`s a pretty high jumper with a lot of endurance so she would do well with an active guardian. Hiking, walks on the beach....she`d love to share in your adventures. She really enjoys a good game of fetch as well. We are pretty positive she would love her downtime as well by being next to you on the couch!

Story
Michigan is a 2-year old boy that came to us in August. He's coming out of his shell and learning about this big beautiful world! Here's what his foster has to say about him: "Michigan is a sweet shy guy that grows more curious by the day! He loves spending time outside and sitting in a sunny spot. He’s a brave boy that is starting to get used to couch snuggles and chin scratches. Michigan prefers the company of other dogs to show him how to be comfortable. With a gentle leader head collar, he does great on a leash and is an amazing running partner! He’s been able to run 3 miles with no trouble and would be the best training buddy." Michigan must go to a home with another dog to help him feel comfortable in his new place!

Meet Ben! Here's what his foster has to say about him: Ben is a 2 year old hound who has been at Dorchester Paws since before Halloween! How he has not found his forever yet is hard to understand. We fostered Ben for a week to give him a shelter break and decided since he was such a good boy, to continue to foster him in hopes we can help him find his forever family!🐾 -Great with kids and other dogs! -Crate trained and house broken, goes to the door to let us know he needs to out -He's a QUIET hound! Great for an apartment or townhouse -Not a licker but loves to snuggle -No separation anxiety or issues with thunderstorms.

Story
Yam is as sweet as they come! 🍠 He's a shy guy at first, but has learned to warm up to people much faster! He is still very timid, and will hide like a baby from young children, but adults and older kids are totally his vibe! Yam loves galloping around in the morning, ten minutes in the yard is vital to get his zoomies out! He is also doing very well learning to walk on leash! He lets his nose get the best of him sometimes, and is often a bit of a tripping hazard on the sidewalk, but this gentle giraffe means no harm! In his chill time, he likes curling up in tiny ball in any bed he finds and looking out the window! When he wants some peace and quiet, he will go take a nap in his covered crate. Yam loves other dogs! Like with people, he's shy at first, but he'll make friends in no time! He has loved playing with his two foster sisters in his foster home! Yam can take a minute to assess and make sure you're cool, but once you feel his unsuspecting nose pushing into the back of your leg, you know you've won him over!
