Story
🐾 Meet Our Sweet Senior Gentleman — Grey/White, 11 Years Old 🐾 This precious soul came to us under heartbreaking circumstances. His original owner passed away, and a friend tried to care for him… but due to his weight and condition, he needed more help than they were able to give. 💔 Now he’s safe with us — warm, fed, and finally getting the love and care he deserves. At 11 years old and 37 lbs, he’s the kind of dog who just wants soft places to rest, gentle hands, and someone who will make his final chapter a comfortable, loved one. Seniors are truly treasures — they don’t ask for much, and they give so much back. He’s calm, quiet, and unbelievably sweet. The kind of dog who melts into you with gratitude. 🤍 ✨ Senior dogs deserve homes, too. If you’ve ever considered opening your heart to an older companion, this boy is waiting. 📍 Monroe County Friends of Animals 👉 View all adoptables at mcfriendsofanimals.org Let’s get this gentleman the soft landing he deserves. 💙

Story
🐾 Meet Yeti! 🐾 Yeti is a sweet and cautious boy who was rescued in March 2025 from the urgent list at Animal Control, where he was fighting parvo. As a stray, his past is a mystery, but what we do know is that he has a heart full of love to give. 💛 He’s a 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard mix who is fully vetted and weighs 56 lbs. Yeti is a little careful when meeting other dogs—he likes to take his time, observe, and make sure everyone is friendly. With patience, he made a special friend in Missy, who seems to have officially declared him her boyfriend, and he happily accepted the title. 🐶💖 We haven’t cat-tested him yet, but that can be arranged upon request. Yeti is leash-trained, loves spending time with people, and would thrive in a home where he can enjoy long walks and run freely in a fenced yard. He’s gentle, affectionate, and would do well with kids who respect his calm and thoughtful nature. 📍 Located in Cleveland, TN 🚗 Transport available to other states 💰 Adoption fee: $150 Yeti is ready to find the loving home he deserves—a family to walk beside him through life’s adventures and shower him with the love he’s been waiting for. Could that be you? ❤️

Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Celia is the largest of her litter, and her heart is just as big. She’s a super silly, playful girl who loves to bounce around, explore, and entertain herself with anything that looks fun. Once she’s burned off her energy, she’s quick to curl up and snuggle, happily settling in for cuddles after a good play session. She’s an adventurous pup who will need a securely fenced yard to enjoy safely. No chain link, as she’s clever enough to climb it. Celia would thrive in an active, loving home that can give her plenty of playtime, structure, and the cozy affection she adores once she’s ready to conk out. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications. Once your application is received, a member of our Adoptions Team will contact you within 2–3 business days.

Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Randall is a sweet, gentle pup with a shy streak that makes him especially endearing. He loves finding cozy corners to hide in and has even been known to scoot under the couch when he wants a quiet moment to himself. Once he feels safe, his affectionate side emerges, and he becomes a warm, cuddly companion who loves being close to his people. He may take a little time to come out of his shell, but the reward is a deeply loving pup who bonds strongly and snuggles wholeheartedly. Randall will need a securely fenced yard to explore safely, and no chain link fencing, as he can climb. He would thrive in a patient, calm home that can offer him reassurance, soft places to relax, and all the love he’s ready to give. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Boo is the sweetest little cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. She is a very gentle puppy who loves nothing more than snuggling close, giving soft kisses, and staying right by your side. Boo gets along wonderfully with other dogs, even big ones, and is friendly with cats. Her favorite time of day is nap time, preferably curled up next to her favorite human. When she’s not snoozing, she enjoys playing in the backyard and is doing a great job learning to go potty outside. She doesn’t see very well, especially at a distance, but she gets around beautifully and quickly learns how to navigate new spaces. Loud or sudden things can surprise her, but she is growing braver and more confident each day as she learns her world is safe. For Boo’s safety, a securely fenced yard is required for adoption. Chain link fencing will not work, as she is capable of climbing. She would thrive in a calm, caring home that appreciates a tender, snuggly companion who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and close to her family. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application.
