Story
Follow us on Facebook for updated photos and more information on our adoptable pets! Need a traveling buddy or a couch potato? Well look no further! Gracie is a 9 Catahoula leopard mix, her favorite time is that spent with humans. Either laying around or playing in the yard. As long as shes got her people she's 100% happy! With that being said Gracie has had some challenges along the way, she is completely deaf, but don't let that be the reason you're not adopting her! She knows some basic hand signs, She does good with children. Gracie would prefer a home with no other animals. She has no experience with cats. Gracie needs a fenced yard or a way to keep her safe outside since she's deaf. She is potty trained and crate trained. Gracie is UTD on vaccines and is spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is 400.00 plus tax. Lucky Paws Midwest is licensed and inspected by the State of Wisconsin: 402655-DS

Story
Name: Randy Travis Breeds: Catahoula/ Lab Mix Age: Adult Sex: Male Size: Large Randy is a laid-back, unflappable guy. He is a 4-5 year old who-knows-what mix who is friendly and good with many creatures. He has been around dogs, cats, chickens and other farm animals with no issue. Randy is good in the home and 99.9 % house trained, though in a new environment he will try to mark a bit, so a belly band at the outset works well for him. Randy doesn’t love being left alone so would be best in a home with another dog and someone who is home more often than not or willing to utilize daycare on longer days. He is mallow but peps up and loves his walks though happy to snooze and hang out wherever his people are. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives. Story
Age: 2 yearsWeight: 55 poundsLocation: FosterMeet Domino! She was found stray heavily pregnant and had 9 puppies February 12 in a loving foster home. When not on Mama duty, she enjoys running in the yard, playing fetch, carrying around toys in her mouth and being loved on by her foster family! She is a great family dog. She is 100% potty trained, is gentle and bonds quickly. She likes to stick close to home and enjoys a comfy couch, especially when she gets to snuggle with a family member! She needs work on jumping but is good on a leash or harness. She seems good with other dogs but has only been observed with the resident senior Chi. She has chased cats but is possibly just imitating what the other dog does . Due to her size and energy, she would be best in a home with older children. Domino is around 2 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She looks like a Catahoula Leopard dog, possibly mixed with Great Dane.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 26, 2024, 11:54 am
