Symphony came to us starting out as a temporary home. We have since then adopted her in the hopes of finding the perfect family to take over her care. Symphony is a very loving, loyal and energetic 2 year young lass that loves a good challenge. She likes to play fetch... but will only return the tennis ball for a treat... maybe... lol! :) She loooves her people and is very good with kids. While she has abundant energy, she also can settle and become a couch potato... as long as there is a lap, leg or foot that she can lean on close by. She has gotten along very well with 2 house cats and our Bully so I know she would be good in an active pet friendly house. She is up to date with all shots and was recently spayed. Because of a unknown past, she is very afraid of loud sudden noises and has a tendency to run in the opposite direction. She is a talker, so be prepared for her opinion when she wants to give it... :)

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Checkers - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! **I am deaf** Named for the legendary Chubby Checkers as I still have some puppy squishiness to me and I love to dance! It is believed I'm deaf or at the very least hard of hearing. I may not be able to hear the music but I can still get those dance moves going on. Come on baby, come do the twist with me!! We can have a 'whole lot of shakin' going on'. I'm still a youngster at around 7 months and even with my lack of hearing am your typical fun, loving life pup that enjoys everything every other pup enjoys. I am very active, social, sweet and affectionate. I am great with people, having never met a stranger yet. Everybody is my friend. I also do well with other dogs and would benefit greatly having a sibling to follow and learn from. The one good bonus of not being able to hear is that thunderstorms and fireworks don't bother me! At 35llbs I shouldn't get a whole lot bigger when I get to my fully growed up size. That's gonna make me a great size for all kind of adventures. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, a nature hike (oooh, love all those awesome smells), camping trips, trips to the doggie park or whatever else you may want to do, I'm ready to be right there with you! At 7 months old I'm at the perfect age to learn some sign language, do some mental puzzle games and learn to play hide and seek with you (and I'm sure to find you..my nose works great!!) I'm doing great with my house training and am picking it up real quick. I've got my handsome good looks, friendly personality and happy go lucky attitude but what I don't have...yet, is YOU!!

We adopted Annie from Fetch Adoption Agency about 2.5 years ago after her liter was found in a field during a storm. She is 3 years old and is an independent lady that is almost always up for activity! She sleeps most of the day and likes to go on a few walks, play fetch in the backyard, and snuggle on the couch. She is good with about 50% of dogs and is best friends with the huskies that live next door. We don't know exactly how she lost her eye but she still carries some trauma so she can have some reactive behaviors when around new people/other dogs but for the most part she is really good - completely house trained, doesn't destroy anything, perfect in her kennel. She is looking for a forever home!

I have the sweet natured attitude that will make me a great family addition. At 2 years old, I'm at a great age where as I'm still playful but way past that destructive puppy stage. That sure makes for a nice combo for my new family. Oh and another nice thing...I'm already house trained too!! I have an amazing tiger striped pattern in my coat and show stopping amber colored eyes which make for a stunning combo!! My hairytage is of the Catahoula Leopard, and the beautiful swirling pattern of my coat is a genetic characteristic. My personality is sweet, sweet, sweet and I am very human oriented. I love giving and getting kisses and spending time with my people. Also, for a medium sized dog of 55ish lbs, I am a great snuggler!! I will wrap myself around my Foster Mum and delight in the attention!! I will stay there snuggling for as long as she has time! I walk well on leash and know how to sit and stay. I have great focus and pay attention really well. I am a people pleaser and will try to do whatever it takes to make my you happy!! I get on well with most all other doggies and enjoy romping in the yard getting a good game of keep away or tag you're it going. I LOVE hoomans and haven't met a stranger yet, I'm pretty sure everyone is here just to give me lots of lovins!! :) I'm a great size to make you a pawsome action adventure type companion, whether it's going for neighborhood strolls, camping trips, hikes in the wilderness and then my beloved snuggles by the fireplace (on the couch is fine too). I'm up for trying it all with...YOU!! If you are looking for a "dog of a different color", then look no further!! I for sure want to be your gal!!
