From the moment he arrived, his gentle nature and happy spirit have made him a shelter favorite. He has a great amount of energy and loves to start his day with a few joyful zoomies, but once he gets that out of his system, he settles into a calm, affectionate companion. Lizard already knows how to sit, is eager to learn more, and loves working with people. He’s wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with playmates or a family looking for a friendly, easygoing addition. His sweet personality, good manners, and fun-loving attitude make him an amazing family dog in the making. Meet Bella the Catahoula Mix ***** Fostered in Franklin, Wi ***** Bella is an adorable 4 month old, female, catahoula mix. She has a beautiful leopard print coat and the prettiest eyes! She currently weighs 21 pounds and we expect her to be a medium-sized adult. Bella found herself in a tough situation when she was abandoned with her sister, Fluffy, in rural Texas. She was rescued by a Good Samaritan and brought to the shelter. She is excited to come to Wisconsin and have her very own family. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is working on her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI as she is just a young puppy. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
