Sammie is a gentle giant who weighs in at about 82 lbs, and while she’s incredibly sweet, her size means she might accidentally knock over very small children (never on purpose—she’s all love and enthusiasm!). She’s friendly with humans and dogs, and while cats in her home have been okay, slow introductions and supervision are recommended to be sure everyone’s comfortable. This lovely lady is playful, curious, and full of personality. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, engaging in fun playtime, and then settling in for what she loves just as much—pets and snuggles. Sammie truly thrives on affection and enjoys being close to her people. She’s fun to be around, endlessly lovable, and cute as can be. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who brings joy, warmth, and a whole lot of charm, Sammie just might be your perfect match. Sammie knows sit, down, and is working on stay. She is housebroken. Her adoption fee is $300. Sammie is heartworm positive so she must remain in the Sarasota or Tampa Bay Area to continue her treatment. The heartworm treatment will be covered by the rescue. 🐾 Meet Teddy — The Energizer Husky/Shepherd! If you’re looking for a fun, clever, high-energy adventure buddy, Teddy just might be your guy! Teddy is a smart and affectionate shepherd/husky mix who absolutely LOVES being the center of attention. Exploring is his favorite hobby, and he’s convinced the world exists just for him to discover! ⭐ Social Butterfly Status: Teddy gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and currently lives with his littermate, small dogs, and even cats. He’s also been around kids 8+ and thinks they’re great—he just has a bit too much zoom in his system for tiny toddlers! ⭐ Teddy’s Husky Side: He’s a proud member of the Escape Artist Union—digging and fence testing are absolutely in his skill set! He has hopped a 4-ft fence like it wasn’t even there and has tunneled his way to freedom just to ask, “Okay, I’m out… what’s next?” Because of this, Teddy will need a securely fenced yard and an adopter who appreciates a good challenge. He also once “checked” the outdoor Wi-Fi cables—just to make sure the internet was up to speed, of course. 😉 ⭐ Talking + Splashing + Learning: Teddy has opinions and he likes to share them—he’s a vocal boy! He also LOVES water and will splash, play, and swim like it’s his job.
