Story
Skippy, is a senior dog (16/17 years old) that is very lovable, still has pep to his step, and excellent with other dogs and small animals (no prey drive at all). He is crate trained, loves toys, chews, and bones, enjoys walks and even a slow short jog He’s just as happy being a couch potato next to you cuddled up. He knows basic commands (sit, paw, down). He’s happy wearing clothes if you want to dress him, especially in the colder months. He was a stray for a few years and I rescued him in 2017. He’s been spoiled since. Unfortunately, I’m moving across the US and cannot take him with me. He is used to being around other dogs, cats, and even a bunny. He loves his bones A LOT and would do best in a home with no small children. I’m hoping to find a loving home where he can be spoiled, loved, and cuddled for the remainder of his time here. He’d do best with someone that wants to give him the most love they can while he’s still here. He’s healthy and still has some puppy left in him.

Story
Leia is a sweet girl who just needs a little more time than I have. She knows sit, down, and paw. She knows how to get in a cage on command. She also will get in her cage when you feed her and wait till you put it in the bowl. She is from the Halifax animal shelter. She loves to cuddle and will be right by your side. She needs to be walked regularly and loves the dog park going on trips and other dogs. She good with little kids. Sometimes she doesn’t know how big she is. She just a big goofy baby

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Tofu! Tofu is a lovable 19-month-old Bichon Frise with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This sweet, energetic boy is looking for an active family that can keep up with his playful spirit. He would thrive in a home with another playful dog or adopters who enjoy walks, games, and lots of interaction. Tofu loves people and is always ready to make new friends. He's affectionate, attention-seeking in the best way, and happiest when he's included in family activities. His favorite game is tug-of-war, and he enjoys daily walks, although he is still working on his leash manners and can pull when excited. About Tofu  Enjoys walks and outdoor activities Trained to stay off furniture Good eater Still has plenty of puppy energy Has not been around children Creat trained benifits from regular potty breaks Ideal Home Tofu would do best with an active family committed to providing regular exercise, attention, and companionship. Because he's still young and energetic, he'll benefit from continued training and structure. He loves being around his people and will reward his new family with endless affection, loyalty, and entertainment. He came to PRBJ when his owner was no longer able to care for him.  He is sweet and playful boy that enjoys going for walks and sitting on your lap. Grooming is Essential: Bichon Frises have a thick, double coat that requires regular grooming to keep it looking its best. Regular brushing is essential to prevent matting and tangles, as well as to remove loose hair and debris. In addition, Bichons need regular baths to keep their coat clean and free of dirt and odors. Professional groomers recommend scheduling grooming appointments every 4-6 weeks to maintain your Bichon’s coat.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2026, 1:15 pm
