Story
This dog ( The Dog ) Deserves to be free to roam and mark every mailbox and stop sign within a 2 mile range . He was a stray that showed up at our house and never left . We took him in and fed him and put him in the back yard which is nearly an acre but he kept getting out at night and would be back in the morning . Well , someone called the dog catcher , who picked him up after a few unsuccessful tries . So I couldn’t just let him stay in jail , I went and bailed him out And officially adopted him , all good . But the dog has more energy than I do and I’m on a busy work schedule and can only walk him 3 times a day . It’s not enough , he needs to be outside someplace where he can run out his energy . If he’s in any one place too long he gets bored and though he’s spoiled in every other fashion I have no place or time required to let him off the leash and run .

Story
Luna was adopted during COVID back in June of 2020 from a shelter in Maryland. She just had puppies when we adopted her and believe she was originally a stray. She is around 7 years old. She is a very shy girl when you first meet her. Once she warms up to you, she will be your best friend. The best way to win her over are butt scratches and treats. She is a very smart girl and knows a variety of tricks (sit, stay, down, spin, rollover, paw, etc…). She absolutely loves walks and cuddling on the couch. She is always ready to go on an adventure and to spend time with her pet parents.Luna would do best with somebody who lives alone or a couple. We wouldn’t recommend she be in a home with young children or other pets. She enjoys her alone time and doesn’t love new people getting in her face. We wish we could keep her, but we just had a daughter and don’t believe Luna would do well with a small child constantly bothering her. We want to find somebody who will give her the love she deserves.

Story
Hi! I’m Cami, a 7monthold, 10 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who may not see the world, but I certainly enjoy it. I explore with confidence, follow sounds with ease and greet every moment with a happy heart. I’m excited to find a family who loves my spirited, oneofakind outlook. Favorite Things:  Cami adores her toys and proudly parades them around the house. She melts for gentle face and ear scratches and can’t resist a little harmless mischief especially when a shoe is left within reach. Training & Manners: Cami is still learning her basics and is working on house training. She rides nicely in the car when secured. Because she’s blind, she shouldn’t sleep in a human bed but she happily settles into her own cozy spot each night. She prefers open, comfortable spaces over tight confinement. Health & Care: Cami has hydrocephalus and is blind but otherwise a healthy young dog. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She’ll need monthly preventatives of heart worm and flea and tick, like any dog. As a Cavalier, she requires grooming every two to four months and benefits from a weekly brushing to keep it smooth.Other Animals: Cami enjoys dogs her size and would love a friendly playmate. She hasn’t met cats yet, but her sweet nature suggests she’d adapt well.Children: Cami would do well with older, respectful children who understand how to interact with a visually impaired puppy.Ideal Home: Cami is a mostly quiet girl who only calls out when she’s hungry or needs help finding her way. She’s wellsuited for a condo or apartment. To keep her safe, she cannot live in a home with multiple levels or a pool and she will need a fenced yard so she can explore confidently.Overall: Cami is a bright, affectionate puppy who will blossom with patience and guidance. If you think she might be your perfect match, please visit www.poodleandpoochrescue.org to submit an adoption application. If it looks like a good fit, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $400. ##2685200##
