Story
Georgia is an incredibly sweet and generally self-contained 9 year old rat terrier(?) mix. She sleeps almost all day on the softest thing she can find (the couch isn’t good enough – it needs to be the pillow on the couch). She is almost more cat than dog - once she’s comfortable, she will stay there rather than follow you around the house). She *thinks* she likes walks but really she just likes the idea of them - after a few minutes, she starts dragging until you turn around and go home. She’s great with all the people she’s met but may bark at you from afar. Give her scritches and you’re in! You’ll know you’ve hit the right spot when she starts wiggling and licking the air. One of her nicknames is “wiggles” because of this. She can be a bit jumpy due to a traumatic puppyhood. It would be important for her family to understand this and do what’s possible to avoid suddenly touching her while she’s unaware. Georgia *needs* to be the only pet in the home (unless the other pets

Story
Reeci is a super sweet and fun loving dog. We've had h 4 years and she has been great. She is house trained and friendly. She has never bitten or attacked anyone. She will bark like crazy when someone rings the doorbell and as soon as the door opens she walks up and begins to smell the new person. Nothing aggressive about her. She loves to play and sun bathe on the deck and run around the yard. We want her with a family who loves and enjoys pets. A family who is financially stable and just as importantly someone who will spend time with her. We send her to The Regal Begal about twice per week for fun with other dogs AND she gets bathed every 2 weeks. If you can't afford the REGULAR vet care of a dog, regular grooming, and good dog dog food, PLEASE know my dog is not for you. If you travel a lot and plan on leaving her alone, then my dog is not for you. If you live in an apartment, my dog is not for you. She needs a yard and if you have kids even better.
