Story
We acquired Luke from the Hall County animal shelter. His original name was Kevin, but we thought Luke fit him much better. He was such a cute and sweet dog that we could not leave without him. He’s 1 year and almost 2 months old. So he’s still a puppy. He is very active with a lot of energy. We have his DNA report and all his medical records. He is mostly a Husky, Dalmatian, and Great Pyrenees mix breed. He is house trained and can sit, lay, go to place, play fetch (use command ‘out’ and point to ground, and he’ll drop the ball). He has a sweet temperament and loves the company of others. He would do well living with another dog and a big area to play and run. We are looking to rehome him due to a new job. The new job requires long hours away from home. Luke would be miserable without company. Plus we do not want to crate him for extended periods of time. We are looking for a good home for Luke. Someone who will love and play with him.

A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Penelope is a gorgeous little girl with an attitude. She is very sweet, but does have triggers. Penelope will require a home with no small children and a fenced yard. Once she gets to know you, she loves you. The ideal family would have experience with small dogs with an attitude. If you’re interested, please apply to furkids.org. Penelope Lou currently weighs about 8lbs., is approximately 11 years old (est. birth date 02/01/2015), and her adoption fee is $185. Penelope Lou has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
