This 11-year-old Bichon Frise mix may be small at 8 pounds, but she has a gigantic personality. Penelope is a beautiful little lady with plenty of sass and charm. She’s incredibly sweet once she warms up to you, but she does have her triggers and will do best in a home without small children. Penelope would thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard and a family experienced with small dogs who know how to handle a little attitude. Once she trusts you, she’ll shower you with love - and maybe a little bossiness too! Penelope Lou currently weighs about 8lbs., is approximately 11 years old (est. birth date 02/01/2015), and her adoption fee is $85. Penelope Lou has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Meet Everest. Life hasn’t been nice to Everest, he came to Furkids as part of a hoarding case where he experienced extreme neglect and grew up in awful conditions. Because of his traumatic past, Everest is a fearful dog and will need an owner experienced with traumatized dogs. He can become nervous when being picked up and may try to lightly nip when he feels scared. He has no experience on leash and gets seriously frightened when walking on leash, so he will require a fenced in yard to safely go potty. He is a smart dog and we do believe with consistency and patience, he will be able to learn to walk on a leash. Everest loves other dogs and will need another confident dog in the home to learn from. After all of the neglect he’s experienced and love he’s been deprived of, Everest needs someone who will give him the patience and time he needs to learn that humans can be trusted. His estimated birthdate is July 2024 and his adoption fee is $315. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ellis will steal your heart the instant you meet him, before he's even had the chance to show off that adorable personality of his. This sweet boy came to us from an animal control after he lived his entire life in a hoarding situation, but you'd never know about his rough past with how affectionate and friendly he is. He's blind in his right eye due to cataracts, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. This sweet boy has quite a bit of pep left in his step and is now walking for one to two miles per day!! Gentle, calm, and endlessly sweet, he greets the world with a big smile. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and children, and he's just as happy exploring the neighborhood from his stroller as he is on short walks where he can stop and sniff everything in sight. He's a great travel companion in the car too, always up for whatever adventure his person has planned. Ellis loves to cuddle, but he's just as content entertaining himself if you're busy. He's crate trained, about 95% potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash, making him an easy fit for just about any home. His sweet, easygoing nature makes him impossible not to love. Whoever adopts this little guy will wonder how they ever lived without him. He's simply perfect. Ellis' estimated birthdate is July 2016 and he currently weighs 11lbs.
