MEET JAKE: a friendly and affectionate 3-year-old mixed-breed dog. Jake is a loyal companion looking for a new owner due to a sudden change in his family's circumstances. Jake’s owner is currently hospitalized following an accident. Unfortunately, he is not expected to recover or be able to provide the care Jake requires moving forward. We hope to find a rescue that can help transition this wonderful dog into a loving, permanent home. Friendly Personality: Jake is a loving dog who has lived happily with one human adult. Social and Adaptable: According to Adam at WagginTails Boarding, "Jake is great. A little nervous at first, but warmed up quickly." Active and Playful: He is very excited about taking walks and thrives on playing with balls. Vital Stats: He is a handsome tan and black neutered male, weighing approximately 52.50 lbs. He enjoys sleeping in his crate. Health Record: Jake is up to date on all shots and is house trained.

Little About Jake I’m a handsome, tan and black mixed breed dog with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I’ve spent my life living with one human adult, and to be honest, I think that’s the best way to live. Because I’ve had my person all to myself, I prefer having an owner all to my own over being around other dogs—I’m a "people person" through and through! I am a 3-year-old neutered male weighing in at a sturdy 52.50 lbs. I’m the perfect size for long walks and even longer naps on the couch. I am house trained with no accidents. Jake’s owner is currently hospitalized following an accident. Unfortunately, he is not expected to recover or be able to provide the care Jake requires moving forward. We are hoping to find a rescue that can help transition this wonderful dog into a loving, permanent home. What Makes Me Happy Playing Fetch: I am very excited about playing with balls! If you throw it, I’ll be there. Exploring: I love taking walks.
