Story
Sofia was given to us by my cousin. She was originally a companion pet for my youngest who is Neurodiverse. She is a lover and craves attention and rubs. She rarely if ever barks. She is chipped, with my cousins information . She has been with us approximately 9 years. Is an inside dog and I think she might be a little claustrophobic. Absolutely will not enter a dog house but was good with her crate. She is very nervous about riding in vehicles. She does not play with dog toys or does fetch. I put a new dog toy on her bed a couple of days ago and she would not go on her bed. I do love this girl so much but I have unfortunately developed some health issues and she is definitely not going to be able to be in the home. She also has no respect for personal space and will be under someone's feet every time you try to walk around the house. She loves her people. She is getting old, I think she is around 11 years old.

Story
This has been a hard decision for our family but think it is best for Nala and us also. We adopted her last year and have not had success integrating her into our busy lives with a cat and two little ones at home. Nala would thrive in a household that has calm energy but with an owner who has time to dedicate to her training and exercise. She likes to go on hikes and does alright with dogs passing most of the time as long as she’s distracted with treats. She has been chasing the cat more and showing signs of being stressed out around our young children. While she’s never caused a serious injury and does well most of the time she would be more relaxed and successful in a home with no children under 12 and in a home with no other pets. She is crate trained, has taken some obedience training, and e collar trained (per our trainer) She will make you laugh and is a good waking buddy. Needs some more training but for the right house she’d be a wonderful addition.
