Story
Hi there! I’m Halsey, an 8-year-old, 15lb Cavalier mix girl looking for my forever home! I’m what you might call the perfect package - I’m house broken, friendly to everyone I meet, and I absolutely LOVE my people! I’m a very sweet and affectionate girl who truly believes laps were created for my comfort. Snuggles are my love language and I am happiest curled up beside my human…ideally with a treat and a cozy blanket. I love to start my day with a quick run in a fenced-in yard, zooming around just long enough to check “exercise” off my to-do list. Then I’m ready to head back since for breakfast and well-earned cuddles. I have the great ability to be high-energy outdoors, but a mellow cuddlebug indoors. I have excellent house manners (when kept on a regular potty schedule) and will let you know when I need to go outside. I love rotating between various dog beds for nap time and proudly carry around my beloved Lamp Chop stuffie. I’m learning basic commands like sit and wait which is an important skill since I might be a bit of a door-dasher…I was originally found in the middle of a busy road. I LOVE car rides and will happily be your co-pilot. Leash walking is still a work-in-progress…I get excited and tend to pull and bark at other dogs. I am working on this with my foster Mom but ideally my new home will have a securely fenced-in yard where I can run and play. I get along with other dogs my size and similar energy level but no big dogs please! I would do well as an only doggie princess too! I’m probably best with older, dog-savvy kids and I would love a family where someone is home more often than not…I do love attention. I’m a pretty instafit girl who loves to run and play outside, but when we’re inside? Total snuggle bug mode activated! I’m the best of both worlds - playful when you want adventure, cuddly when you want to relax. I’m ready to give you my whole heart. Could I be your perfect match? Story
Hi, I'm Jazz! (You might also know me as Arwin, but my foster mom took one look at my personality and decided Jazz fits me perfectly — and honestly? She's not wrong.) I'm a gorgeous black toy poodle girl, 3½ years old and weighing in at a mighty 8 lbs of pure energy and charm. Don't let my size fool you — my foster mom says I have a poodle puppy personality, and after spending five minutes with me, you'll totally get it. I am one smart cookie — I've already mastered sit, shake, and coming when called, and my foster mom says I pick things up fast. I'm fully potty trained and even figured out the puppy pads on my own (though I usually prefer to handle my business outside like a lady). Crates? Not my thing. And being alone too long? Also not my thing. I'm a people dog through and through — I want to be right next to my human, always. My favorite things include: my toys (I carry them EVERYWHERE), chasing my ball, zooming around the yard, racing my foster poodle brother (he's fast — but I keep up), belly rubs, cuddles, and greeting absolutely everyone I meet with maximum tail wags and enthusiasm. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd do wonderfully with older, dog-savvy kids! Fair warning — I do bark when I want someone's attention, and I get a little excited around other people and dogs on leash. I'm working on my manners! Also, I love a good busy bone... but I do NOT share. Just so we know where we stand. I arrived into rescue heartworm positive, but I'm in the final stage of treatment and expected to make a full recovery — I'll be ready to zoom into my forever home very soon! If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, velcro poodle who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your personal entertainment — that's ME. Story
Hi there, I’m Hermie! I’m a sweet 5-year-old poodle mix boy weighing just 11 pounds, and I’m looking for that one special person to be my whole world. I’m very loving and affectionate with excellent manners – I’m house-trained, crate-trained, sleep in my own bed like a gentleman, and I’m even polite enough to wait until other dogs finish eating before checking for crumbs! I ride well in the car, walk great on a leash, and I get along with other dogs. And I LOVE to sit on the back of the couch and play with my toys! Now, here’s what makes me unique: I’m a one-person kind of guy who forms a VERY deep bond with my human. When I love, I love big! I can be a bit protective of my special person and I’m not always thrilled about strangers getting too close – I like to keep my circle small and my devotion big. Because of this, I need an experienced adopter who appreciates a pup with a strong personality and can guide me with confidence. I have been living in multi-dog foster homes recently and I’m learning to share my human’s attention so I think a calm, adult-only home with at least one other dog or multiple dogs would be ideal for me. No kids, please. Oh, and I eat a special Rx food due to a sensitive stomach – just a little detail to keep me feeling my best! I’m ready to be someone’s devoted companion and shadow.
