Wren is a 5 pound shy & sweet tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She loves affection and attention and true to her breed, never wants to be far from her people! She is doing well with crate training, likes to sleep in bed with her fosters when she can and is working on potty training. She can be a little picky as an eater, so she will need patience as she learns what she likes. Her foster home has young kids, which she enjoys, and another puppy and cats. She is more cautious around the other animals, but not fearful. A true lap puppy at heart, Wren is happiest snuggled up close. She’s content to sit calmly on her person’s lap and enjoy pets and love and being told how sweet she is! Because of her tiny size, Wren could easily get underfoot and become a tripping hazard. For this reason, she would do best in a home without toddlers or individuals with mobility challenges. Wren is ready to find her people and live her best life in a home full of love and joy! Adoption Fee: $550 Location: Decatur IL Leia’s Hope is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue. All of our dogs live in foster homes. Applications typically take 7-10 business days to process, meet and greets are scheduled only after an application is approved. We do not transport dogs; adopters must travel to the dogs location in Decatur IL for meet and greats and adoption.
