Milo is an adorable 3-year-old parti-colored Miniature Poodle who has recently retired from a puppy mill and is ready to discover the joys of being a cherished family companion. Like many puppy mill survivors, Milo has had limited socialization and is understandably fearful of people and new experiences. With patience, kindness, and encouragement, Milo is beginning to learn that humans can be trusted. As he becomes more comfortable, his sweet personality is starting to shine through. He will need an adopter who understands that building confidence takes time and who is willing to continue helping him learn the skills needed to become a wonderful little companion.Milo is not yet leash-trained, so a home with a securely fenced yard is preferred. Due to his mistrust of people, Milo needs a family willing to be patient and tolerant as he learns how to be a family pet. Previous experience with puppy mill or otherwise unsocialized dogs would be helpful. If you have the patience and love to help Milo continue his journey, he may be the perfect addition to your family.
