Story
We will keep Dottie until we can find her the right and perfect fit. This isn’t an easy decision for our family. We’ve had Dottie since she was a pup, and she’s a part of our family. Dottie, unfortunately, is anxious. She’s always been that way. Her quality of life is suffering in our home with three kids, 3 other dogs, and a loud environment. She would benefit from a single couple without children or an older couple who keeps a low profile. Honestly, she’d probably thrive in a no-child/other-animal environment. She isn’t about the exercise life at all. She likes air conditioning and her people. Dottie is such a snuggle bug but can at first be timid. Once she finds her people, she will love you forever. Her favorite spot is right next to you. We will keep Dottie forever if needed. We love her. But her life would be much better somewhere a bit less hectic. She doesn’t prefer the car, but will tolerate it if she has to. She does great with grooms, etc.

Story
Aurora is a sweet and loving girl. She is a big time cuddle bug and lapdog. She is used to being indoors but if provided sheltered lodging she would love to run free outside. She has had a very good life up until recently. When our family split she went with a family member who is not financially able to care for her. She is so goofy and fun. She loves to play fetch and could do so all day. She is scared of fireworks and thunderstorms though. She needs kennel trained because as of right now she gets confinement anxiety and will hurt herself trying to get out of the kennel. She is fine as long as she is free and out. But if put in a room she might chew. She really is a wonderful dog and I wish I could take her with me instead of leaving her in her current bad situation or rehoming her.
