Maple is a sweet, loving, and incredibly smart puppy who has brought so much joy into my life. She loves being around people, learns quickly, and has the kind of personality that makes everyone fall in love with her. She is curious, playful, affectionate, and still very much a baby who is figuring out the world around her. As difficult as this decision has been, I want to make sure Maple has the best life possible. She deserves someone who has the time, energy, and flexibility to give her the attention, training, and consistency that every young puppy needs.I'm looking for a home with someone who understands the commitment that comes with raising a puppy and is excited to help her continue learning and growing. Ideally, her new owner would have a flexible schedule or spend a lot of time at home, since she thrives with companionship and guidance throughout the day. Maple is truly a wonderful little dog with so much love to give, and my goal is simply to find the person/family who fits.

Story
Gordo will be 12 years old on June 11. He is sweet and loves to cuddle. He has had the same owner since he was a puppy. We have a 3 year old and 1 year old. When our son was born, he was indifferent to him but mostly enjoyed playing with him. Now I think in his older age, he is frustrated and doesn’t know how to interact with them. He frequently nips at them and has bit them when they walk past with food or if they startle him. He is always sweet with adults, but with his older age he is bothered and upset by toddlers. I think he would be happy with children in middle school, but not with young children. When we are out on walks, people often mistake him for a puppy. He is full of life and very energetic but he is clearly showing signs of aging specifically in the way he interacts with young children.

Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). This little cutie is about to be 2 in September. She is both playful and loves to cuddle. She is also a little timid at times due to our lively home. It is stated that she isn’t 100 percent potty trained. This is due to our demanding schedule. We have older dogs who does well. But we want a better quality of life for her and hope she will be rehomed soon. If someone has the time and energy I am sure she will make an amazing doggy baby.
