I love running, discovering new places, driving, going to the beach and having adventures. I also get along very well with children and other animals, so I really enjoy making new friends.I have all my vaccines up to date, including the rabies vaccine, and my mom has always made sure I get the best care.With a lot of love and sadness, my mom is looking for a new home for me due to job changes and a move that will no longer allow her to dedicate the time and attention I deserve. This decision is not made for lack of love, but precisely because he loves me too much and wants me to have a family that can continue to fill me with affection, games and adventures.If you think you can give me a home full of love, I would love to meet you! 🐾🤍

We are fostering a 5 year old adventurous and affectionate red-headed rescue who's looking for his forever home. Athletic and cuddly, intelligent and trainable, Jesse is a great dog for a home that can provide him consistency, exercise, and companionship. Loves: affection, tennis balls, herding balls, fetch, barking at people walking by, and consistent boundaries and commandsStruggles with: separation anxiety (currently medicated), resource guarding (food/toys with other dogs), being in public places (needs practice), and the concept of personal space (will sit on top of you if you let him)

Story
Steve is a mixed breed rescue just over a year. He is a love and protects his person and his space. Recently our other two dogs are not thrilled with Steve and although he wants to play, they do not and it turns into a fight. He is very strong and a jumper, although he is also very gentle when taking his treats and giving kisses. He has been to "school" and his trainers said that Steve is a good boy takes time to learn and may be a bit "Special". Steve knows basic commands, potty trained, and a loves going for walks. He loves cuddles and hugs. Steve thinks he is a lap dog, but he is not. Our house has a lot of coming and going as we are a big family. Steve does not like when strangers ring the bell or enter the house. When the other two dogs are in the house, Steve wears a muzzle (which he can bark, pant, drink, eat, and lick) to prevent an accidents with the other dogs.Steve would be great in a home with no pets and no small children.
