Story
Gordo will be 12 years old on June 11. He is sweet and loves to cuddle. He has had the same owner since he was a puppy. We have a 3 year old and 1 year old. When our son was born, he was indifferent to him but mostly enjoyed playing with him. Now I think in his older age, he is frustrated and doesn’t know how to interact with them. He frequently nips at them and has bit them when they walk past with food or if they startle him. He is always sweet with adults, but with his older age he is bothered and upset by toddlers. I think he would be happy with children in middle school, but not with young children. When we are out on walks, people often mistake him for a puppy. He is full of life and very energetic but he is clearly showing signs of aging specifically in the way he interacts with young children.

Whether it’s playing fetch, going for walks, or simply being close to his favorite person, he thrives on attention and activity.Unfortunately, despite our efforts, he has not been able to successfully coexist with our other dog. Because of this, we are looking for a home where he can be the only pet and receive the individual attention he deserves.Ideal Home:✔ No other dogs✔ No young children✔ Active owner✔ Someone familiar with terrier breeds or high-energy dogs✔ Secure yard is a plusThis decision has been extremely difficult, and we are committed to finding him the right forever home.
