Bucky has been in foster care for more than 1000 days and very much wants to find his forever family or person - wherever they may be. He's a good boy and we're not giving up on him. He is a playful, very smart 5 year-old male who loves attention and would thrive as the only pet, where he can shower his humans with all his love. He’s crate-trained and enjoys car rides, adventures, walks, chasing a ball, snuggles, and having his own cozy space, which he’ll bring along to his new home. Though he’s selective about other dogs and not good with cats, once you earn his trust, Buckie will be your most loyal and loving companion. He’s ready to meet his perfect match!

Story
Nova would be a wonderful fit for someone looking for a loyal, playful, affectionate companion who can keep up for an adventure but is equally happy curling up on the couch afterward. Give her a flirt pole, Benebone, a ice cube, or some dog safe fruit and she’s in heaven. Give her a lap and she’s just as happy. 🥹A little honesty: Nova can get excited (read: vocal and pully) around other dogs or around strangers (especially when they enter her home). She’s not aggressive; she’s enthusiastic, and she’s still building confidence. With proper introductions, she does great. She’s already made real progress with consistent training and would thrive with someone who’s willing to keep that going. She walks best with a prong collar and is e-collar trained. She’s great with older kids and would do best in a home without cats. Her comfort level with small children is still unknown, so an adult/older-kid home is the best fit for now.

ON HOLD - Izzy is currently in a testing period with potential adopters. I will update if it doesn't work out.Izzy is incredibly sweet and playful - she always wants to be around me and get pets. If I were a dog-person, I'd keep her in a heartbeat but I have 2 cats who require significant medical care so I can't. She's surprisingly good with the cats - she wants to play with them but she backs up from 1 look/hiss. I took her to my vet to get checked out where she got her rabies and initial distemper vaccines - her follow up distemper is due on the 18th. The vet guessed she is around 1 year old and confirmed she is not spayed. We didn't see any fleas but I did start her on a flea/tick medicine. If I had to guess her breed it would be a mix of dachshund and golden retriever. I work from home so if you want to come meet her to see if she's a good fit please reach out.
