Story
Meet Luca! 🐶 Luca is a sweet, loving 4-month-old Cavapoo who brings so much joy to everyone he meets. He has a gentle and friendly personality and does wonderfully with people, children, and other dogs. Luca loves attention, cuddles, and being around his family, and he is sure to make a wonderful companion for a lucky home. This decision has been incredibly difficult for me, but due to a recent job change, I am no longer able to dedicate the time and consistency that a young puppy needs for training and development. Luca deserves a family that can give him the time, patience, and attention he needs during this important stage of his life. Luca is still a puppy, so he will need continued potty training and basic obedience training, but he is a smart boy with so much potential. I am committed to finding him a loving, forever home where he will be cherished as a member of the family. If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate, and social companion, Luca may be the perfect addition.

Story
I purchased my dog from a breeder in SC to be an emotional support animal for my special needs son. It is not working out as my special needs son gets more anxiety with having him than he did before we got him! He has not been neutered but I believe he is up to date on his shots! He is crate trained but not fully house trained and still has accidents/marks his territory inside our apt. He will be 2 years old on August 29, 2026 and weighs between 10-14 pounds.

Story
Just look at that smile! The little guy grinning from ear to ear is aptly named Happy Man, and honestly, we've never met a dog who wears his name more proudly. This charming young Miniature Poodle wakes up every day ready to share his joy with everyone around him. His tail wags with enthusiasm, his eyes sparkle with happiness, and his smile says it all. Happy Man's journey to Critter Cavalry Rescue began with heartbreak. When his beloved owner passed away, he and another dog were left alone in the home. Kind people made sure they were fed while a dedicated rescuer searched for help. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, and this precious little boy was given a second chance at the future he deserves. At only 18 months old and weighing about 10 pounds, Happy Man has settled beautifully into foster care. There he received everything he needed to start fresh: a complete veterinary examination, neuter surgery, vaccinations, heartworm testing, fecal testing, a microchip, and all the loving care he could handle. He passed every health check with flying colors and is now eagerly waiting to find out where life will take him next. And what a wonderful life companion he will be. Happy Man is smart, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. He loves people and thrives on companionship. Like many young dogs, he is still learning a few things. He is almost housebroken and will need a family willing to establish a consistent outdoor potty routine. His elderly owner relied primarily on pee pads, so he simply needs a little guidance and patience as he learns new habits. The truth is that rescue dogs don't always arrive perfectly trained. They carry the effects of the lives they've lived before. But what matters most is who they are at heart—and Happy Man's heart is pure gold. If you're searching for a young dog who is healthy, intelligent, loving, and guaranteed to brighten your days, this little star deserves your attention. He has overcome loss, embraced a new beginning, and never lost his joyful spirit. Some dogs come into your life and make you smile. Happy Man is the kind of dog who makes you smile every single day. Could you be the lucky family he has been waiting for?   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 6, 2026, 9:38 pm

Story
I took her in as a favor for a friend who needed her to be rehomed. She is a very sweet dog but does have a few attachment issues, she unfortunately has been passed around between 3-4 families in her whole 2 years of life. She loves to be outside and play and absolutely loves to cuddle and love but just needs someone who is willing to put in the time and the effort to love her the way she deserves. She isn’t a fan of water but she is good at taking baths.

Story
Nova is looking for her forever home. She’s a medium-to-large girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people or checking out new places, but give her a few minutes (and maybe a couple of treats), and you'll quickly see what a sweetheart she is. Once she warms up, she's affectionate, goofy, and loves being with her people. Some of Nova’s favorite things are; squeaky toys, Benebones, strawberries, apples, chasing her flirt pole, demanding an ice cube anytime you open the freezer, and playing fetch with her rope toy. She also does not adhere to the social laws of personal space when it comes to her people! On walks and in new environments she can get excited when she sees other dogs or new things and sometimes pulls and gets a little vocal because she wants to say hello, but she has made a lot of progress and will undoubtedly continue to improve with consistency. Nova is a great mix of playful energy and couch potato potential who is happy to be wherever her people are!
